Amazing community asset providing much needed support to the local people

I quite often take baby clothes up to 2 years of age. The staff are very welcoming and appreciative each time I call.

The staff are lovely and completely approachable; I really felt a sense of care for me in each interaction. I was told that, when being seen to in the appointment, I would not be rushed out and that's exactly the experience I had. The parking was great as they have an overflow parking section. For those who would like the "warts and all" picture, there are some letters missing on the outside of the building but not so much that you can't see what it should say. The reception area had a lot of what looks like donation items in stacks but any of these "negative" comments are not relevant in the context of such good service.

Food Bank, lots of food for people in need.

This review is specifically for the 'baby Sensory' they have. Firstly, it's not baby sensory. It's a few toddlers running around clocking babies on the head with toys. The 'baby sensory' is a few hideously dirty blankets laid out with grotty toys on them that haven't been cleaned since the place opened. Honestly, I took my 3 month old and there was no interaction between myself and the room attendants. The blanket kicked up so much dust and bits onto my daughter that she was sneezing for the rest of the day. The toys where caked in food and dirt. I left after 4 minutes of being there and a lady who arrived just after me followed suit. She remarked how dirty and disappointed she was. Stay clear unless you need to use the food bank.
