   Absolutely disgusted !! I wish I could leave less than a one star review !!! My 16 year old daughter was referred 2 years ago by her regular dentist for braces to be fitted to her teeth due to misalignment of teeth and bite. After a very basic VISUAL examination (no measurements or X-rays taken) she was told she did not qualify for NHS treatment and would therefore have to pay for private treatment. I requested a re referral from her regular dentist who agreed, with a long wait due to Covid which had a negative impact on her mental health and self worth, she was refreshed to an alternate orthodontist. She had her first consultation today 01/08/22 which was VERY thorough with lots of measurements and X-rays taken and a second opinion regarding extraction treatment from the specialist. It was confirmed that she does qualify for NHS treatment which will now commence ASAP. I am disgusted and very disappointed with the flippant response, basic visual examination has lack of treatment from Cedar house (a so called dental specialist) This has resulted in a massive drop in self confidence of my daughter over the last 2 years, and has had a huge negative impact on her mental health, which has resulted in personal counselling and much distress to the family. It seems to me this practice is more concerned with making money through private treatment rather than due care to qualifying NHS patients. I shall be making an official complaint both to the practice and NHS and seeking legal advise.

   I don't know how this has suddenly got a few 5 star reviews. Must be fake. This practice has had no sense of urgency sorting my bracework out*. I've been waiting 3.5 months for an appointment. *Bottom teeth have shrunk and top have overlap, left with overbite and open bite - I had to complain & threaten legal action to get a response. I had to be referred to a specialist to confirm the issues. Update - this original review was 5months ago and the teeth are literally the same. Prove my review wrong and rectify the issue please.

   My daughter is just on her last few visits to finish her treatment the whole experience has been fantastic. All the reception girls are really friendly and helpful. My daughter's orthodontists have both been very professional and kind and sometimes funny. All in all its a an excellent practice.

   Had braces fitted at Cedar House practice and was impressed with the treatment I received. I was well informed and and knew what changes/ treatment I needed on every visit. Found all the staff to be very welcoming and professional. The Orthodontist who provided my care was Dr J Cooper. He worked with a fantastic Nurse called Alex. Dr Cooper and Nurse Alex were amazing. I have a slightly irrational fear when it comes to dental/ orthodontic care. Dr Cooper and Alex made me feel very at ease. They are welcoming, professional, caring, managed to make me laugh when I was extremely nervous and appeared to work together like a well oiled machine.. I would highly recommend Cedar House Practice to anyone who is seeking Orthodontic treatment.

   Both our son and daughter have been attending the practice since getting their braces last year. We have always found the staff to friendly and helpful, taking away any pressure that our children have felt about having braces. The orthodontists listen to our children, and answer any of their questions clearly; they also have a sense of humour, which always helps! I would thoroughly recommend Cedar House.

   I was extremely impressed with the very professional, prompt and caring service received from the practice for my 13 year old son. Mrs Brindley explained each step of the treatment at each appointment. Her caring and considerate nature meant that my son felt at ease at all his appointments. His braces have now been removed and his teeth look great. A big thank you to her and the whole team.

   My daughter has been attending Cedar House for the last 2 years. Orthodontist explained the treatment required and all staff always pleasant and helpful. Braces are now off and my daughter has the most beautiful smile. Cannot speak highly enough of the practice. Thank you everybody.
