Absolutely wonderful place to stop for dinner! Absolutely wonderful staff, lovely food and great portions I highly recommend it!
Had an amazing experience here for my daughter’s 21st birthday. We had a lovely roast dinner in the cosy dome, with Isaac as our host, who was so friendly, attentive and brilliant throughout the whole day, keeping us topped up and looked after all evening. Will definitely be coming back again!
We popped in today for lunch and were instantly impressed with the decor and atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly, they brought over a bowl of water my dog without even being asked. I ordered the Steak Sandwich and Chips plus a cheeky Pornstar Martini. The food and drink were lovely! Will definitely be returning!
The interior design of the restaurant is really nice, looking fancy at night time. At first, I was thinking why the menu is based off London price. But the food is a big surprise! We ordered king prawn pasta and steak pie. Wowwwww the food is 10/10 please!!!!! Very decent food quality for a British pub! And the proportion is perfect for an adult! I would highly recommend having a meal here for any family/anniversary occasions! It would be even better if the service could be a bit quicker.
Went for an evening meal with my family. We all loved the food. Great location by the side of The Thames by Chertsey Bridge. The staff were also friendly and polite. The restaurant was fully booked so we eat in the bar area, which was more then fine. Will be going back. Went back for Sunday roast. You need to book. Plenty of good food.
Great pub and location but the Chicken Katsu was disgusting. Cheap reformed chicken that tasted like wool. No soya sauce on the slaw. Terrible presentation. Certainly won’t have that again
Only popped in for a starter due to time restraints. Ate breaded brie, scallops, and halloumi chips (bit too salty for our taste.) First two dishes were delicious. Hope to return in the autumn when camping nearby. Have definitely put a pin in this location!
Visited the Kingfisher yesterday afternoon for lunch with a friend and I have to say, our waiter Liam gave us amazing customer service. He was welcoming, polite, attentive to our needs and ensured we left happy. The fact that he had a sense of humour was a bonus. He was a good communicator, to the point he sold the place to us to where we plan to return. My friend was recommended the scampi dish as a starter, which he had never tasted before and he loved it. Our main meals were amazing. We just felt for a rack of lamb, there should have been a bit more on the plate. For our dessert we had the apple and blueberry crumble with custard, which was delicious. A big thank you to Liam and the rest of the staff, including the chefs, for making our visit a memorable one.
We arrived and was put on a table near the bar and kitchen, didn't really feel comfortable, so I asked if we could be moved, they were very accommodating and moved us to a better table. The food was outstanding!! Will definitely go back!
