Wonderfully old fashioned and brilliant boozer. Incredibly helpful when my car broke down. Organising local people to help resolve the issue.

Great old pub in the centre of Ripley, low beams and full of character and history. Friendly, welcoming and cheery staff. Look out for the live music events
Only had a couple of pints and must say very nice. Had the London pride and was perfect. Great service from the lady behind the bar and a very reasonable price for the part of the country. Yes I will return thank you.
Beautiful little pub, the staff and regulars were welcoming, and I would definitely make a point of popping in shame that they don't make pubs like his anymore little gem

A gem of a good old fashioned pub! Warmly welcomed by the Landlady and the locals drinking there, also met the Landlord later, again very friendly. If you’re looking for a gastro-pub this probably isn’t for you, but if want a drink in a great pub with atmosphere and friendly locals then look no further, highly recommended.
Lovely and cosy, great for a drink with friends. Very small garden area. Love the vintage feel about it.
