Don’t usually leave negative reviews. However think this needs to be brought to others attention. Visited for a Sunday Roast recently. Lovely pub. Staff seemed friendly and helpful however the food was certainly not up to the standards you would expect. Chipolatta sausage on my roast was not Cooked properly. The sausage was cold and very red in the middle and even had blood drip when cut into it. Spoke to the manager who didn’t seemed overly bothered about it. Just brought me another sausage over. Sausages should be cooked to 74 degrees and it was clear that this wasn’t the case. I’d be very interested to hear if you probe all your cooked meat and what food safety processes you have in place?!

Bumped into this nice little pub on our way home. We were first met with great service by the lady at the bar. Food is good too. Because we went there before the regular lunch hours, the quiet environment was highly enjoyable.

Could not have asked for a better place to host our baby shower last month! They’re so very accommodating, understanding, and generally, made our day special. We had to cut our party size to half the day before unfortunately, which we were worried about but they made it so easy. We were allowed to decorate the area, and even access to the garden. It was lovely! Food is buffet style (Β£19.50pp), they give A LOT of food, and we were provided with a lot of takeaway boxes. Highly recommend if you want to host an event in the local area. This is the place to go if you simply want to treat yourself, family, and friends.

Lovely waiters and service experience. The food however let this place down massively. We waited a long time for our food (we didn't grumble) we were happy to be here. :-) when it came the chips were soaked in oil and tasted rather old. My daughter could barely touch hers as it made her stomach turn. Her burger was OK. My husbands fish and Chips..and mine were over done (Sooo much) again the chips were deathly oily. My fish was dry as a bone! My sisters Chicken Roast was good. Dessert is where they excel! Sticky toffee pudding and Brownies! The star of the show. Hats off to the chef here. Clearly that his gigg. Overall, sadly an underwhelming experience. It's very hit and miss at The Victoria. Lovely place tho!

I had a delightful lunch with my mum recently, where I indulged in a delicious beef burger accompanied by some incredible chips and onion rings. My mum opted for the fish board, and we were both thoroughly impressed with our meals. The pub itself was charming, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our experience even more enjoyable. To top it all off, they allowed me to bring my adorable little dachshund along, who is named Chipolata. The staff were so kind that they even chipolata sausage on the the menu for bar snacks and I didn’t want a whole Portion so allowed me to have half a portion It was such a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and I can't wait to return for another wonderful meal!

Very warm welcome by front of house and seated swiftly. Drinks soon followed and then our lunch. Very polite and friendly staff, amazing food and great beer selection. I had the pan fried sea bass and my lady had the pork tomahawk, both cooked to perfection. They also cater for vegans as well as allergic patrons.

Had a great birthday celebration tonight. The food was good but the service was excellent. Our waitress was so accomplished, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going back! Sorry for the lack of photos but it is my birthday so photos are only of my family so nothing really of the restaurant!

Great, attentive service from a friendly team. Clean throughout the pub and the beer is good too. The food is well done although perhaps a little pricey? I had the cheese platter as a desert- Β£10 for two pieces of cheese, a few crackers and relish? All in all though a good, well run local pub.

Incredible portions, beautiful food, welcoming environment and very helpful and attentive staff. This is the best Gastro pub in Surrey by miles. Great price point, play area for the kids and an adequate sized car park. It’s got mood lighting in the pub and more light in the restaurant, a great ambience for a long lazy lunch or a quick bite. We will definitely go back.
