Excellent specialist whisky shop. Knowledgeable staff, comprehensive selection across all price levels. Don't expect it to compete with supermarket loss leaders. You will find one of the broadest selections of specialist single malts all packed into a small shop in Bakewell. Well worth the visit for the whisky but when you add in the picturesque town it is a double win. They also have a decent selection of gins which are similarly different and interesting.
What a great find! Knowledgeable owner, really great selection of Whisky/Whiskey - a small selection of fairly prices Cuban and non-Cuban cigars... I walked away with this Gem!
The Wee Dram are a great whisky retailer. I'm proud to say that I have been a customer for many years. The advice provided is second to none. The range is amazing and prices are competitive. The tasting events are a fantastic experience - both in-person and online: well organised, always an interesting flight and a great atmosphere. Adrian, Alison and the team are clearly passionate about customer service and experience: it's this that has built customer loyalty over the years. Went to one of their organised whisky tasting sessions as a birthday present for me from my son and daughter-in-law. Absolutely brilliant, had to take a break for lunch but back in the afternoon ( lost count of the whisky’s I tasted) but left with a rather nice one from the “Wee Dram” shop just across the road very reasonably priced for a good whisky. Superb time with explanations from really knowledgable people.
A great shop not to be missed if you enjoy whisky and are in the area. I find their selection excellent and fairly priced. And with a friendly owner with a story to tell for every bottle, it always feels like time and money well spent!
