Never stays open until closing time. Today has to be a new record though, two hours early on a Saturday night.
Shop was busy so I waited at the post office counter patiently. 3 staff members were talking to each other including the woman serving. 7 customers later I was still waiting despite being seen by all 3 staff members and there only being 2 customers before me ...I just left the shop and went to new whittington post office instead as complaining to these people gets you nowhere.... this has happened to me three times now and I will never go to this shop again. I hope they lose the post office as no one who works there seem to want to serve people from it.
My daughter as just been in and a member of staff went right up to her face and told her people are entitled to a break that's why there is only one serving

I Have To Give So Much Credit To The Shop And The Staff. First Is The Offers They Do Especially Competing With Large Supermarkets, Then The Staff ! I Have Been Served By Many Of Them And They Work So Hard But At The Same Time Don’t Rush You. I’m A Disabled Gent And I’m Not Good At Shopping, Paying Bills & They Are Superb In Every Aspect. They Assist In Packing Groceries, Help At The Post Office And I Never Feel Like I Should Hurry. This Is So Rare These Days As I Go In A Supermarket On Whittington Moor & The Staff Don’t Help At All. I’m Made To Rush Or Put Stuff Straight Back In The Trolley & Pack Elsewhere. People Are Really Quick To Complain About Shop’s & Staff But Never Give Credit Where Due. I Would Like To Give A Huge Thank You To All At One Stop At Old Whittington !!!
