   I went to Ashurst yesterday as an emergency appointment. I had a very large abscess which had infected my sinuses and I was feeling very unwell. I had had an appointment elsewhere the day before where a dentist had refused me due to swelling. When I saw this dentist, she immediately saw the severity of the abscess and the pain I was in. She acted immediately providing the care I required, provided antibiotics and talked me through what I need to do next. All the staff I spoke with yesterday were lovely and helpful and I couldn't be more grateful. The pain is significantly less and once the antibiotics have properly kicked in, I am sure I will feel much better. Thank you all for your swift actions to help me. I really do appreciate it!

   Had the most amazing dentist today...1st sept 2025 app was 2.55pm, she was so thorough, did an amazing filling...booked for sedation at ormskirk nhs for xrays, have intolerable gag reflex, booked in for a deep clean once x rays are back...then hopefully more sedation for dentures...she was fantastic..im a very nervous patient too x

   Had my front teeth capped by Ashurst dentist as they were stained. I cried when I saw what they had done. They brought my award winning smile back to life. It’s truly a vacation for your teeth coming here. Reception, nurses, doctors of dentistry here are amazing. Nothing to much trouble. Thank you so much.

   First visit since covid hit. Have to say it was a pleasant experience from ringing making the appointment(which was next day) to visiting this morning. Dentist was very thorough and explained everything. I felt so at ease even made a 6 month appointment. Having to pay for treatment it didn’t break the bank. Other dental surgery wanted to take xrays etc before they even had seen my teeth. Also wanted to sign up to monthly payments. Nothing like that here so well done and Thankyou

   TLDR: tried charging me twice, I was having none of it Update: After I emailed a complaint, they looked into it and corrected the mistake - I now have antibiotics and an appointment to rectify the issue. Up'd to 3 stars because of the correction but leaving at 3 as it took them a week of me having to contact them while being infected and in pain --- Attended with a toothache, had a filling done, pain returned within a few days so attended again and instead of the cost falling under the previous cost (as you'd expect with it apparently being under warranty), I was told I'd have to pay 'because its a different dentist'. No ta, you hacked me up and did a botch job and now wanna charge me to correct your mistake :/ I came in asking for it to be fixed, I dont care who did it but your surgery took the job and so is responsible for the correct care being administered. If I go to a garage and the mechanic makes it worse or just doesnt fix the issue, the garage cant tell me to swivel and take it up with the individual mechanic, ridiculous

   Friendly and professional team. I was only registered with the practice for a short time and they referred me to another dentist to carry out complex dental work they were unable to do. Fortunately the practice i was referred to were able to take me on as a permanent patient. Thank you Ashurst for the treatment i did receive.
