Recently stayed in Hounslow for 3 nights, was really impressed with the local Spoons. Had an evening meal and a couple pints when we arrived, and I had a breakfast on 2 of the mornings. Was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. Nice. If ever in the area again would most definitely visit. Enjoy.

Very good and cheap pub in this area. Food is always so tasty, fresh and nicely served. Stuff that works there is really friendly. Usually it's quite busy, but there is lots of space inside, so you will get a table. You can order online by using your phone and adding your tablet number.

The moon under the water Pub Awards Justified It's worth taking note. Warm and friendly staff can forgive a multitude of sins and so can an excellent view. I once gave a 3 star review to a slightly more upmarket restaurant, that took a 10% service charge. Another restaurant Charged me Β£15.49 plus service charge for breakfast alone, without any drinks. Context It's important to give Context to a review. This is wetherspoon after all. Therefore they will have the usual strengths and weaknesses that come with the brand. The service was better at Wetherspoon with no service charge on my bill. Wetherspoon doesn't claim anything it is not. You get what you pay for. Food and my favourite beer for Less than Β£8, is excellent value Wetherspoon can sometimes find it difficult to keep all food items at a decent temperature. Therefore ending up with items that are sometimes cold - not in this case. The presention and content of my wrap wasn't as good as other wetherspoon. So something to work on In this day and age where too much screen time can be damaging for children's mental health. Parents will often just give them some sort of screen, so they can have 5 minutes peace. There was an excellent stock of kids activity sheets and crayons The atmosphere, booths and aesthetics, felt like a cosy tradition pub. The bottom Line is: could you go to any major City in the world and have a meal at any standard, with beer, wine or any soft drink for less than Β£10 I am an experienced and picky reviewer. However the price, ambience and service alone is enough to give The Moon Under Water an easy 5*

Not the best pub visit I had. Staff were way too relaxed, eating crisps laughing out loud, these 2 girls in particular looked like they were there just for the laughs and to chill. No pudding was being served after 11pm which was a shame but understandable. Lots of dirty glasses around the table so not sure which tables were free to sit at. Drink prices are okay but for a beer prices can be looked at again. Is it normal for the pub not to have security because if lots of people are leaving drunk isn’t there chances of arguments because we left and as our car was driving out next to the pub a lady thought it would a good idea to try kick it. No background music as well just loud noise of people around

Very neglected pub, with a gloomy and dull environment, accommodating waiters, as far as our dishes are concerned the worst we have ever eaten in this chain the tasteless and watered down madras with a strange meat that did not stand out so much that it was badly done for not talk about the pappadums which in my opinion were 3-4 days old, the same thing for the inedible tikka masala the only good thing is the mango sauce. But I believe we will never return

I love this pub! It's a local boozer and not a tourist trap but if you are a tourist staying in the local area I would recommend dropping in and meeting some locals. I used to live around here and every time I’m back in the area I’ll pop in for a few pints and food. It really has great prices on UK ales, great cask ales and smaller brewery ales too and usually a varied range of them on tap. I’d likely bet they have some of the best prices in London for good drinks. Also note this pub is in the good beer guide and cask marque certified. Food has been very good to excellent and they get it out quickly. Breakfast here is also very good and well priced with pretty much unlimited coffee for only Β£1.20. I will add the staff have always been very nice and generally attentive. I’ve been coming here off and on since the early β€˜90’s when it opened. I totally would recommend this local pub.
