I came to the Apprentice with a friend before the England/All Blacks game at Twickenham, I used to live in the area and was back visiting from Australia. What a treat to cone back, it was busy but the service was still great and Jamie was on the floor welcoming guests, taking orders, serving and doing the bills. We commented to him what great customer service he had offered. Food of fish and Chips and steak and ale pie were delicious. Iβll be back next time I visit London. Thank you for starting our day so well and a memorable trip down memory lane.

HBH Lunch. Early lunch so it was not busy, but popular. Outside and inside seating. Great position on The Thames [tidal], but very little parking. Very helpful staff, regarding allergies. Good menu. History on a wall plaque.

Tatiane is amazing β she creates a unique, warm and family-like atmosphere in the pub. Coming here feels just like home. The food is, as always, delicious.

The London Apprentice has been a favourite pub of ours for some years now. We recently hired the beautiful upstairs riverside room for our intimate wedding supper and had the most wonderful experience. Jamie and his team were so friendly and helpful, the food was superb and an excellent evening was had by all! Highly recommended.

The atmosphere was great, especially on a hot day, to sit outside. Plenty of seats and very family friendly. The service was nice and efficient. I didnβt like my βvintage burgerβ Β£15 at all though. I couldnβt eat half of it. I asked for extra crispy bacon but the one tiny piece that came with the burger was not crispy. The buns were hard and dry. The beef patty had a few pieces of crunchy bits in it. I didnβt want to imagine what that might be. And the fries were so dry and hard. I will not be going back for their vintage burger, but Iβll try other dishes though.

Well how should I start great place for Sunday lunch and place to stop off on a walk along the Thames. Just what was needed today especially the friendly welcome from Kelly who by the end of the visit was a star. Kelly was there for when we needed a drink and when there was a little issue. Kelly sorted things out she was great and helped to put a smile on your face. We had the Chicken Wings to start and Sunday Roast. I will be going back You have to go and say hello and have a few drinks and some food. If you lucky you will bump in to Kelly make sure you say Hello. Well worth a visit and good place to start a walk along the Thames or even end with good food a nice selection of food and drinks to please everyone

The London Apprentice is an iconic pub across the Thames from Kew in the village of Isleworth. If you enjoy a warm afternoon at a Riverside pub, you have to find your way to this pub. It's outside area is substantial and its food tasty. We were glad to find our way back there today. It was a fine way to spend an afternoon.

Fantastic customer service and well priced drinks. Didn't get to sample the food but the drinks were good. There's free parking when we went (Monday evening). Lovely view of the river with late night light reflections. Highly recommend!

A great pub with an amazing patio terrace along the river. It's the outside seating that makes this pub a joy on a sunny day. I'm giving it 4 stars because the food was average. The staff are nice and helpful. Overall, if you're nearby on a sunny day, get a spot under the sunshine with a nice drink.

Haven't been to this pub in YEARS, not helped by them blocking off the through road to cars in Old Isleworth... But, found myself on foot on the Thames Path around lunchtime and just had to pop in, for old times sake. With its riverbank location, it's a great summer pub, but even on a dreary, rainy Friday in March, it's still very welcoming. Cosy and in good order, great beer selection and friendly, attentive staff. Couldn't resist the steak and kidney pudding with mash to top off this impromptu nostalgia trip. Wasn't disappointed! Very tasty. Well worth a visit, whatever the weather...
