We had a great time doing the contagion escape room, they took a decent amount of thought while staying nicely entertaining, the design and layout was all fantastic! Charley was our games master and she did a great job of introducing us to the game, all in all a very fun escape room!
This escape room (Eagle Two) was fantastic, hard enough to make you think and we had a great host in Hook, who led us through and gave us help when we really needed it! Fantastic way to spend an afternoon and would recommend for groups or couples alike.
We had a brilliant time playing the Operation Lone Eagle room at Can You Escape, and Hook was an excellent games master! Would highly recommend this to a couple or group of friends looking for a fun activity in York.
We made a spontaneous booking with some friends who were visiting us in York, and it turned out to be a brilliant idea! The room was really well designed, and thoughtfully put together. The staff were super friendly, and helpful throughout. We’ll definitely be back to try one of the other rooms!
Booked this last minute on a spontaneous trip to York with friends and we are so pleased we did. We did the Eagle Two room and the story and clues were well thought out. We aren't people who are good at these rooms but it was hard enough to make sure we had to think but easy enough to still enjoy it and we got out. Ellie was extremely helpful throughout our visit. Would definitely come back here to try one of the other rooms!
The concept of the hero room was fun but it was less of an escape room more of a puzzle room in which half the stuff was faulty due to wear and tear. The tv screens weren’t on for the entire game so we had no idea of our time, the string for the bow broke so we spent an age trying to fix that, and the plastic scales for the weighs were a bit naff too. It was rated difficulty 5/5 and the challenges didn’t seem that difficult, they were only made hard because of their state. At £50 for two people we expected a bit more to be honest, and we didn’t get offered a team photo at the end which would have been nice
Great escape room in the heart of York. We did the super hero one and it was one of the best rooms I’ve done. Lots of varied puzzles and I was grateful not to have to do a load of padlocks for a change. Big shout out to Max who was a great host and helped with sorting my booking out after I made an error! We do a lot of Escape Rooms and very much enjoyed HERO. It was a little less escape room and little more like a complex crystal maze room but still we had a lot of fun and some of the puzzles were super creative. As with most escape rooms it suffered from tiredness to its decor. Still the hospitality and enjoyment made up for it.
A great experience. Fun and challenging and we had a super time. Our host was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle. Would definitely come again!
