   My Grandson aged 12 has been a patient since he was a baby. He has had problems with a tooth but last week was in terrible pain, unable to sleep and I’ve honestly not heard cries like it. 2 days of trying to get an emergency appointment only to be told Monday was the best they could do. On the Friday he was so distraught I booked and paid for a private appt elsewhere, at a cost of £114 just to get him out of pain. I worked for WB for 13 years and never once would have left anyone in agony for 5 days, let alone a 12 year old child. No excuses for this kind of neglect. You have a duty of care and failed miserably. The dentist he saw was very nice and is referring elsewhere due to child's anxiety and ADHD but I did tell him that it was appalling that he was left in so much pain. Reception should have spoken to the dentist in my opinion to try get him seen in between patients.

   Excellent organised team and setup located in Birkenhead. Dr Hanna is a sympathetic and highly competent dentist, a credit to the surgery which was saved by him given the actions of a predecessor. I travel from Shrewsbury to continue my long term care, which has improved the condition of my mouth from a state like Baghdad now to a respectable condition, also with help from their hygienist. Take care of your mouth because if you don't your peak health WILL suffer.

   What a credit to our NHS this dental practice is. I was fortunate enough to get registered recently and I'm incredibly impressed at the treatment I've had so far. The reception staff are friendly and super efficient, and Joanne quickly sorted out a change I had to make to an appointment, over the phone. My dentist Jenny and her assistant Phoebe are first rate and it's clear they're passionate about dentistry. My dental plan was thorough and clearly laid out, as were the NHS charges, which has made my treatment as stress free as it could be. A big thanks, to a lovely team.

   David is a good dentist who handles my filling very gently and make it a painless experience for me. Thanks for explaining the procedures which I was less worried about. I did my teeth hygiene check with Francesca who is very lovely and told me the knowledge and the way to best brush my teeth to avoid bad gum. Thanks for their professionalism and I will come again.

   The place lacks soul and a friendly atmosphere. You just feel like a cash cow. One dentist made two failed attempts at extracting a tooth. Westbourne then booked me in at the Arno dentist who had no trouble at all extracting the tooth. My next visit I was placed with a Pleasant young man who unfortunately lacked confidence. This in turn made me doubt him and I asked to see a different dentist to have a filling done. The reception manager made me an NHS patient feel second class with her like it or lump it attitude insisting I stay with this nice but still learning dentist. The filling he did lasted less than a day. The reception manager cancelled my appt without notice and her attitude about it was ahh well! Rather than address the issues they tried to blank my calls and have removed me from their registration. AVOID this for-profit 1st dentist practise at all costs!!!

   Joined this dentist as a private patient and explained that I was nervous. Needed a filling through the whole of covid that I'd avoided because of my anxiety. Went for an appointment which I though would include my filling, so I mentally prepared myself. Instead I was given an examination by the most heavy handed dentist ever, hurt my mouth just looking at my teeth so I was nearly crying and he hadn't even done anything! Felt like he was trying to get his whole hand in my mouth. Then he proceeded to show me a book about teeth while I'm trying to stop myself from having a panic attack. It was obvious I was really uncomfortable and anxious, yet he sat there showing me pictures in a book. The whole time I was thinking please get me out of here before I burst into tears. He explained that I'd have to come back for my filling even though I'd asked the receptionist to book me an appointment long enough for a check up and the filling as I'm an anxious patient and wouldn't come twice. Went down to reception to pay and was charged £100 for an extended examination! £100 for the privilege of being read a story about teeth while I sat there trying not to have a panic attack. Needless to say I didn't return and still need my filling. Now I'm too scared to book in somewhere else to get it sorted and £100 lighter for absolutely nothing. Would not recommend, why you would keep someone there talking at them when they're clearly nervous and nearly crying. Left in tears and sat in my car outside having a panic attack- cheers.

   Took my mother for an urgent appointment at the practice today and found the whole team to be polite, friendly and professional. I was particularly impressed by Dr Hanna & his nurse, who treated my mother very well and made her feel very comfortable from diagnosis to treatment. Would highly recommend to those seeking treatment in the area. Thank you for your help!
