   We booked for seven people on Christmas Eve for our daughter's birthday. I took a punt as I didn't know this restaurant/pub but it was pretty local and the person who dealt with me on the phone (Chris I think) was really friendly and warm. Well, I couln't have chosen better. I have literally just arrived home but felt compelled to write a review. All the staff were just delightful, oozing energy and positivity. We were served by Jack who I think deserves a special mention. He made us laugh from the start and was a wonderful and attentive member of staff - honestly, if the staff are great it makes the whole occasion special, which was certainly the case tonight. Thank you to everyone. Now to the food - flavoursome, hearty yet nuanced. Great portion sizes, definitely on the generous side. Everyone at the table was passing food to each other and delighting in the flavours. It felt like we had stumbled upon a well kept secret and I'm so glad that this is where we spent our daughter's 20th birthday and Christmas Eve. Definitely go if you haven't already.

   This pub is amazing! It's in a good location and is very nice and cozy inside. I went there with amazing friends for a Sunday roast (which was absolutely delicious). The portions are great and everything was very tasty. I had a homemade baklava with vanilla icecream for dessert which is a must try if you go. We were well looked after by a lovely young man called Christopher who was very kind and helpful. Will definitely be going again!

   Enjoyed lunch today at the Watermans.The food was really excellent and the portions were very generous.The pub has recently been renovated and they have done a really great job on the decor and ambience. We came here under the First Table offer so the meal was excellent value.The staff were delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the gastro pub. We will definitely come again and can’t recommend it highly enough!

   I had an excellent meal at Watermans Richmond. The food was delicious — full of flavour, well prepared, and served hot. Every dish felt thoughtfully made, and the portions were just right. The service was outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I never had to wait for anything, and everything was handled with a relaxed professionalism that really stood out. The atmosphere was perfect for a comfortable evening out. Warm lighting, a cozy layout, and a calm, inviting energy that made the whole experience feel effortless. Overall, everything came together beautifully — great food, great people, and a great setting. I’d happily come back anytime.

   Stumbled across this little gastro pub tucked down a small alleyway. We had our dog with us so we weren't allowed into Scotts or The Ivy which we tried first. Very impressed with the quality of the food, fish was as good as anything we have had at Scotts and its a nice relaxed atmosphere away from the busy highstreet. Oysters very fresh

   Good, attentive service. Excellent wines A good Sunday roast, food not just piled on the plate. Only criticism- the water jugs - buy some nice ones and upgrade your cutlery, a buy cheap. Otherwise good all round.

   A delicious cocktail where the expresso in the martini was replaced with maple syrup! A nice place to chat away from shopping in the town centre, but you are only a couple of minutes away. The staff were also friendly and prompt!
