   If you're lucky enough to walk into The Maxwell when James is working, you're in for a great time. He's the kind of bartender who makes everyone feel like a regular, genuine, sharp-witted, and always up for a good chat. His attention to detail behind the bar is second to none, whether it's pouring the perfect pint or recommending a drink you'll actually love. James brings real heart and personality to the place, and it's obvious he cares about the people as much as the job. Absolute credit to the team!

   We hold a monthly craft meeting at the Maxwell. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. The team open early for us, which is amazing of them. We are always made to feel welcome and Flo is always so hospitable and helpful. We love how accessible the location is too. The food is great, we just wish there was breakfast service too!! ☺️

   Awful as wouldn’t accept my Id card which is recognised by the government and the bar staff were very rude I don’t recommend this pub to anyone I think it should be shut down for good

   Came for a few drinks as it's a stones throw from my friends flat. Really good vibe and friendly staff, the drinks were a great price too. Nice seating area outside with heating but plenty of seating inside too, which has a big TV too for sport.

   Beautiful place for a drink. Big screen TVs. Music on monthly. Plus outdoor seating and covered seating. Area. Excellent transport links as pub is across from train and bus station. Great place for a quiet drink, friends night out, sports nights. Really worth dropping in.
