We love this pub! Great Sunday roasts, lovely staff & a friendly welcoming atmosphere. An all round great pub.
Lovely pub with great food and very nice service. The 2 meals for 20 UKP was a fantastic deal too :)
So five of us popped in on a Wednesday evening, hopefully to eat as well. Very quiet at the time but the kitchen was open. Top marks to The Cricketers as all five meals arrived in good time and were all excellent. Nicely prepared, a good size and very tasty! Currently a special offer on a Wednesday & Thursday at two meals for £20 (except the pies) so really good value. The pub really deserved more people to be eating tbh. Really pleased we visited. Harveys ale was well kept but a second ale choice would have been good as well. Friendly lady behind the bar. Give it a go!
We had an excellent dinner at The Cricketers on a busy Saturday before Christmas, there was a really lovely, cosy and festive atmosphere with super friendly staff. The service was exceptional considering how busy they were , and probably the best fish and chips we've had in a long time. Generous portions and very reasonably priced, The Cricketers is now our go to local in Orpington. Highly recommended.
Great little 'local' pub, by which I mean it has all the positives of a community pub but it welcoming to everyone. Good selection of drinks all served with a definite smile and a warm welcome and at reasonable prices. Sunday Roast is absolutely exceptional, delicious and big portions. Staff and customers always seem happy to be there.
Very lovely pub with homely atmosphere, great service and fabulous food. We’ve been here a couple of times for Sunday Roast and every time we’ve really enjoyed ourselves - highly recommend.

This little gem was an amazing find Hosted a Baby Shower here on Saturday and cannot express how accommodating The staff were. Dan was very flexible and encouraged us to decorate, provide a playlist that he played through the function room sound system, he allowed us to go in early before the booking to decorate too. There is plenty room for a sit down occasion or a full disco/dj party. A back door leads out to the garden and a separate area too. The room has plenty of sockets and a bar, buffet food is an option too. Had an amazing time and everyone complimented on the venue and how quaint, country-feel yet quirky it was. Perfect, Thank you !
