Had a lovely Christmas dinner at the Rose yesterday. A party of 6. The food was delicious and service was amazing. Particularly KARLY who was not only efficient but fun too. Will definitely be returning again.

Christmas lunch for 6 yesterday. Great food and service - thank you Karly for the warm, friendly welcome and efficient service. Roast potatoes fantastic. Will definitely return. Approx, £50 per person, for 2/3 courses, wines and beers - great value

Had a get together Christmas Reunion yesterday in The Rose for 25 of us and we had a fabulous afternoon/ evening in the pub . The service was great and nothing too much trouble for Kat , the new manager and her staff . Everyone commented on how good the food was and all served up at almost the same time which was good . Bar was well stocked , Morreti on tap and service at the bar was almost instant . I cant complain about anything , fun friendly bar staff and a great location for our yearly bash , well done The Rose and Merry Christmas to you all .

For about the fifth I and some ex work colleagues have had a Christmas gathering/reunion at The Rose and not once have we been disappointed. The staff are lovely, the food excellent and a wide range of beers and lagers. In addition the pub itself is clean, well maintained and has a great atmosphere to it. I can recommend The Rose highly enough.

Nice pub located in the centre of Bexleyheath. Came for a quick drink. Real old fashioned boozer vibe to the place which I don't mind. Friendly service. Good choice of drinks, reasonable prices.

Comfortable, small, old style pub. The sort of pub you might expect in a village location, instead of a high street. Although a lot of regulars crowd the bar, the friendly bar staff delivered a prompt service. Draught beer was in good condition as well. There was a great selection on my visit: Doom Bar, London Pride, Proper Job and Theakstons Grouse Beater. I only stayed for one, and would have liked to have tried them all. There are a lot of things to look at on the walls, check out the jugs and bottles displayed as well.

Lovely pub with wonderful staff- ready for a chat and a laugh. Quite a few people in when we were there but very pleasant and definitely no animosity to us drop-in non-locals. There are two doors at the front but don't worry they both lead to the one bar. The Guinness was excellent and the Doom Bar as well. Just a quick historical note: the roses out the front are very white, but the rose behind the bar has a red light on it. Make of this what you will.

Lovely pub. The owner is really friendly and kind. I have only been going there recently and have been made very welcome. The other staff members are really lovely too. The food I've had has also been great. . . .Enjoy!
