   What a transformation! Not been inside for many years although it should be our 'local'. Went in to have a drink and look round, stayed for lunch and another drink. Staff friendly and welcoming. Range of drinks is good and food excellent. Will certainly be going back

   This is the second time I’ve visited since the new ownership, and after such a great first experience, we had to come back to try the food. Our first visit was fantastic, the staff were welcoming, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere had a lovely, friendly vibe. On our second visit, we tried the Sunday roast, wow! I’m not usually a fan of roasts when eating out, as I often find home-cooked ones are best, but this one completely changed my mind. The portions were very generous, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were all well-seasoned and full of flavour. 10/10 — I highly recommend you try it! I’m so pleased with how the new owners have turned things around. As a local, it’s great to see this pub thriving again with a family-friendly atmosphere, fantastic food, friendly staff, and a genuinely warm, local feel. I’ll definitely be returning and letting my friends and family know!

   Dropped by after it has reopened, seems like they have done a lot of work on the pub, it looks really nice. The new owners seemed like decent people too. Maybe they could increase their presence on social media though to publicise that the pub is back open under new management.
