    I found this pub to be grubby to say the least. The land lady also looked dirty and was very rude. Avoid this pub

    Can't deny this is the most droll pub in the district. It's had a make over recently so at least you don't have to wipe your feet on the way out to your car that's 12 inches down in a pot hole. Locals watering hole with huge potential if the owners were to capitalise on its size.

    Comfortable pub, but no good for the real ale drinker, with only Courage Best available, served in poor condition. When my friend rightfully returned our dodgy pints, he was questioned by the landlady. Good venue if you like karaoke and fizzy lager. Won't be going back.

    I didnt eat here so cannot comment. Entry is from a side door, which is a bit sketchy. Ive been here twice now and been served by three different servers and all of them have been friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Real ale from the mighty Oak Maldon on tap was good and well looked after.

    Lovely place, great staff, very friendly, good prices and excellent garden out the back. Show all the sports when they can, friendly locals and really good variety of drinks on offer! Bit strange having separate bars that aren't accessible without going outside but once you understand the setup it works really well.
