   Absolutely fantastic pub — easily one of the best I’ve visited in a long time. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The pub strikes the perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort, with a cosy interior, great music at just the right volume, and a lively but relaxed vibe. The staff are outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and everyone took the time to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. It’s clear they take real pride in the place. The food was exceptional. Everything was cooked perfectly, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Portions were generous and great value for money, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. The drinks selection is just as impressive, with well-kept ales, a strong range of beers, and quality spirits and cocktails. What really sets this pub apart is the overall experience — it’s the kind of place that works just as well for a relaxed pint, a proper meal, or a social evening with friends. Clean, comfortable, and full of character. Highly recommended and definitely a pub I’ll be returning to again and again.

   I was served by Sarah today, and she was absolutely lovely. She was so kind and attentive — constantly keeping an eye on our table and clearing glasses as soon as we’d finished, which made such a difference since we only had a small table. She made sure we always had plenty of space and was really friendly and easy to chat with. On top of that, she pours a perfect pint! Her attention to detail and great attitude really stood out — brilliant service all round.

   If you’re after a terrible microwaved meal, really poor slow service, disgruntled staff, a chef behind the bar flapping his arms like a grumpy Mr Tickle and then returning your food as it’s not what you really wanted and looks dreadful, and poor portions, so you have to make alternate plans. I couldn’t recommend it enough. We all know toby carvery is the bottom barrel for Sunday lunches, go there in a heart beat over this. Go a great pub like the Kings Head across the road and get a Thai, great service and much nicer staff.

   Comfortable pub/restaurant with excellent pub food. I would have preferred they paid more attention to their online ordering system so I didnt have to go up and tell them I'd ordered a drink, but that's just my antisocial nature as their staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating.

   Really nice pub with decent pub grub too. They have a large interior with plenty of space and seats, it does get busy at times - Friday/Saturday night being a couple of those times but the environment is welcoming and the mood is generally quite a high/fun one. Pricing is expected for the area, it could be a little cheaper if I’m being honest and is one of only 2 criticisms I have about the place, the other being the “outside” area at the rear of the pub, they could do a lot lot more with the very limited space and furniture they have there. For example, adding in a “bar” level shelf of some sort to rest drinks on for smokers/vapers along the outside wall would help, and perhaps putting poser tables (higher level) out there rather than small regular tables would help to make it a little better looking and a more comfortable external environment too. All in all a great little pub, one to visit if you are on a Bexley pub crawl for sure as it’s right in the centre of it all!

   took a close friend out for drinks on Tuesday night. the beer was ok although a selection of pumps were out of service so no Camden Hells available. the food was good, we went for a selection of small plates this is the bad bit, the gents toilet is disgusting, graffiti all over the walls, toilet was disgusting and from the staircase up you could smell the loo before entering
