Really poor food - we ordered mix grill and chili chicken as a group of 3 and couldn’t taste any flavours in their so called Punjabi food they say specialise in. It was a terrible dining experience
Catering-Ordered Biriyani/ Samosa/ Potato fritters. Amazing biriyani - not too spicy or oily Potato fritters were crunchy and went well with mint and the sweet chutney Raita was good too The only point I deducted was for the samosa-oily and not crunchy. I would defo order the biryani raita again. Catered to 30 people.Delivery on time. No issues contacting.
Everything was good and I really enjoyed it. However, the food was a bit oily. The prices were reasonable though, so overall a good experience.
Waited over 2 hours for delivery. I called a number of times and was told driver is 10 minutes away. 45 minutes later food was finally delived COLD. I called the restaurant to complain, they answer was to call 'Just Eat' Very poor customer service and below average food. I will not order from this restaurant again.
Ordered a chicken dhansak got a stupid, tasteless, simple chicken curry. When I called up I was told that is how they make it. TO MAKE IT WORSE THERE WAS NO LENTILS EVEN INSIDE THE CURRY, THEY DID NOT EVEN TRY TO ATLEAST ADD THAT!!! The lamb Bhuna was freestyled like HOW HARD IS IT TO FOLLOW SIMPLE RECIPES. That chef does not know how to cook they definitely spoiled our night.
Just ordered a super large mix grill to be delivered to Romford. Almost 1:5 hours later the food turned up and was cold. Opened the main mix grill box and there were no masala chips, the meats were not cooked properly. I cut one of the lamb chops and it was all pink inside. Hardly ate any of the food and I had to throw most of the food away. I have called the restaurant and left several messages but they haven't bothered to call me back. Never again!!!

Not the best looking pub in the world but really friendly staff and punters, the food is very good specifically the fish curry
I ordered my food it was nice and hot when arrived and the tikka Marsala was lovely lightly spiced A1
It's a good place to come. As do go there almost every week. Excellent service. Made me feel good when I do go n have few drink with friends. I would recommend it. If you want to go to a Desi style place. You must try to go at least once to see, how lovely time you will have in Avenue Bar.
