Went for an Indian meal and it was delicious. The pub was quite busy and the food took a while to come out but it was worth the wait. Good size portions extremely flavoursome and clearly cooked freshly. We all ended up taking home a βdoggy bagβ as we were stuffed and you canβt beat a drop of next day Indian food!! Also itβs very reasonably priced for the flavour and portion sizes. Would highly recommend a visit.

My partner and I had a wedding to attend nearby and found this place last minute, thinking it might be a decent option. Big mistake. This is not a hotel. Itβs a run-down pub with rooms above it β no reception, no hospitality, nothing. We were taken to our room by the barman, who walked us behind the bar like we were sneaking in through the back. The place stinks β literally. The hallway smelled like urine and old food from a filthy kitchen. Carpets were stained, the windows were broken, and the furniture was falling apart. Even the towels looked like old rags, and the bedding was thin, worn out, and honestly made my skin crawl. The worst part? The bathroom. It was clearly being shared with staff who live there. Dust, hair, and limescale everywhere β even mould. I honestly thought we had been put in one of the employeesβ personal rooms. We were stuck and had no other choice but to stay, but I wouldnβt wish this experience on anyone. The hygiene level is beyond poor. I wouldnβt recommend even eating or drinking here. If I had the energy, I wouldβve taken more photos to show just how bad it was β but honestly, I was too disgusted and overwhelmed to even bother. Thatβs how bad it was. Avoid at all costs. This place needs to be inspected and shut down.

Called in on the off chance looking for food (staying at the Dagenham East Travelodge) and we were most impressed with the curry dishes on the menu. Food was served nice and hot. Curry and rice cooked to perfection and the service was lovely

We held a family bereavement get together . Staff were very good and attentive and the food which they laid on was very nice with a variation of food for everyone.

This is the best pub in the area now. It went through a dodgy time, a few years ago, but the new owners took over two years ago and have really improved it. There's a sports bar, main bar with three screens, restaurant area and a beer garden. It has a great community feel.
