Came in here for a few drinks during a family visit to the area because it looked so good from the outside with the Christmas decorations up. It was a very cosy, welcoming atmosphere, with friendly, attentive staff. Thanks for making our visit special!

Brilliant night out. A big thank you to laura and the team x I celebrated my 50th birthday on Friday night and had the best night, the staff were happy and helpful, the service was spot on and the entertainment was a performer called Stevie Zee who was lots of fun. Overall a friendly welcoming local pub. Thank you x

Absolutely Brilliant Pub Thank you for such a warm welcome everyone. I visited Yesterday with Family and felt I had to leave a review. The staff at the pub made my Husband and Myself feel so welcome. We visited with my Brother and Sister in law who live locally and who have been raving about the pub to us, and they weren't wrong. The Secret Garden is stunning. Laura who runs the bar was such a lovely Lady. Thank you for our warm welcome. My Husband said the Guinness was spot on.

This pub is fantastic. Music Friday Saturday Sunday. All staff and landlady friendly. Due to recent reviews there are a few horrible reviews from a sour ex partner that is an alcoholic and was caught drink drinking 5 times over the limit. Please ignore them as these are being handled in the appropriate manner. Please come see for yourself, before putting this pub at the bottom of your list. Landlady is professional, helpful and very friendly

The Railway Tavern is a traditional no frills pub with friendly bar staff and the usual range of beer and spirits.

The Railway Tavern definitely feels like an old fashioned pub, in the middle of Bexley. Small, in a comfortable way, although there's not much seating. Lots of events, and karaoke night sounds like it would be great fun, as well as the many gigs that are often advertised.

Review of The Railway Tavern, Bexley Village. Me and wife went there for the first time, on a Sunday night in March 2022 - having heard they had karaoke. Arrived about 7.30 and it wasn't very busy so we got high chairs at the bar. DJ Duncan was already set up on a stage in the corner; he does a regular Sunday night session until 11pm. It's a bright, nicely laid out pub on the High Street, unsurprisingly round the corner from Bexley Rail Station and handy for buses including the 229. By 8.30 it was busy and by 9 it was HEAVING, mostly with the late 20's crowd but a fair few coffin dodgers (like us!) and one or two harmless weirdies. The hard working barmaids were run ragged. Great music and singers (mostly, but, well, it is karaoke!). Drink prices reasonable; £10 for a single Bacardi, a bottle of coke and a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord (which was excellent!). A great night out. Recommended.
