Lovely little out of the way pub. I thought it was going to be a locals only sort of place, but the bar staff were very welcoming the Guinness was good, the pool table was flat and the toilets were clean. I didn't try the food but saw other customers tucking into what looked like amazing pizzas, which I will try if I am ever in there again.

Went to the Ship for a Caroling and Buffet evening. Caroline and John and the regulars made us very welcome. The atmosphere was amazing everyone was in good spirits and joined in. Certainly will be going back there again.
Lovely friendly pub. Beautiful decor. I found myself at a loose end and decided to pop in while I was waiting around for my car to be fixed. Glenda and Caroline took me in and looked after me and even provided me with a charger for my phone. I ended up being there long enough to have a gallion burger for dinner which was really lovely. I'm very glad I popped in and will definitely be back. Back garden was gorgeous too
