Great selection of beers, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Love music often. Outside area is still warm even in this weather so plenty of seating. Staff are happy to let you bring your own food in. All in all a great place. Usually the only place I'll go drinking in Dartford.

My favourite pub for more than miles. Fantastic beer, and what a selection! The patrons are so friendly. I came here on week 2 and recommend everyone - get down here.

Ive known Nick from when he first started setting this business up in Dartford. Its a very friendly place with knowledgable staff. I am quite a regular down there as the beer changes regularly and I have never witnessed any trouble. You can turn up on your own and always see a regular face to sit with. I also catered Nick's wedding, which was a great honour. The Growler Stop is dog friendly and you will often see families in there as it is pretty safe place for children to go. There are regular good live bands in the summer months and through the winter.

Amazing, warm and friendly with a huge selection of craft beers and ales, and a couple of really good non alcoholic options too. I think there were 28 available on tap when we visited yesterday along with wine, spirits and soft drinks. We went for an extremely brilliant and hilarious comedy night, which was free and paid for by the owner. 4 acts and compere on the last Sunday of the month, which gave us belly ache laughter. The improvised song maker headliner was a great finale! I think he was called Dru Cripps. The owner finds top talent from across the country and locally, some of the acts had just performed at Edinburgh Fringe. A great space with spacious interiors that has a fresh Neopolitan pizza van on Fridays as well. Really friendly place, for anyone, there were people that came alone through to couples, friends and groups. They have events regularly including themed nights. We had great conversations with fellow locals and discovered a lively fun warmly hosted by Nick the owner and his team. Highly recommend.

I was lucky enough to visit the Monday night quiz. I visit loads of quizzes but only put up posts on here occasionally, for a particularly scathing whinge, or when something, usually some one deserves a big up. Last night was the latter. There was a plethora of questions, well delivered, well balanced, of a good standard, with frequent score checks for the first 75% of the quiz. Enough 'fun' to keep everyone in the mix ‘till very late on, without scuppering the better teams. A TERRIFIC prize distribution (Top four and one random), the timing was just about textbook (half an hour later start than the advertised time), The music was 40 something centric, out of the 30 tunes perhaps Thinking of You, Good Thing Going and Hotel California were the earliest (albeit bangers). I was at sea after the first 5 tunes, didn’t get one of ‘em. But not an unfair window or choice. £6 plus a pint pub, but it was decent, comfy, ubiquitous screen coverage, good sound, but the jewel in its crown being the young man behind the bar (BRANDON!) who could not do enough for Connor (my beautiful big boxer from Stanford-le-Hope). A bed for my dog is not quiz – but it doesn’t do any harm!! Brandon is a catch. Kudos and thanks to Nick (the boss), Ian (The quiz host), and Brandon Unreserved recommendation.

"Wotta great place", Exceptional service and advice from the staff on all the beers and ales that we tried, the five of us tried 10 3rds of a pint each (3 & a 3rd pints) over 2 hours. There are 4 single toilets here Ladies, Men's, Unisex and Disabled which are very clean. This was my first time here, but definitely not the last. This is a must visit if you love great beers and Ales, I sincerely can't recommend "The Tap Room & Bottle Shop" enough

A unique set up with oodles of beers on tap, in bottles and cans. Along the lines of a micro pub. Very welcoming and friendly staff who will guide you through the vast beer selection. Can't make up your mind? Ask for the "wheel of fortune". Now the nicer weather is upon us, Nick has got hold of some comfy chairs (with tables) outside, thus expanding the area for the clientele. Who, I might add, are very friendly too. Growler Stop is really, too good to miss. There is now a piano that the talented can play, and live bands playing on occasion. Still a great choice of beers.

Went to the Growler stop for first time last night. Great, helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very extensive beer menu that the staff will help you with. We sampled quite a few across the range, pale ales, ipa’s, bitters and stouts and they were all lovely. We will be returning and next time our wives said they’ll come with us and sample their gins :-)
