   You’ve heard of the horse whisper and the baby whisperer…. Well Steve is the Mercedes whisper!!! Completely lost hope with my car being fixed however Steve said no way and got me back on the road. Sorry let me just clarify not only did he do this once, he’s done it 3 times now and my car is still going strong! I will always buy Mercedes now because I know the reliable, kind and super smart Steve is there to help. Will forever recommend Steve and his team!

   Been using Steve and the team for over 6 years now on my Mercedes Vito London Taxi. Knowledge, reliability, customer service, affordability and an eagerness to get me back out on the road again are essential traits for me as my vehicle is my livelihood and these boys have never let me down. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my servicing, maintenance and repairs. Take my view as a great recommendation because having been a London cabbie for nearly 30 years I have used many different garages all over London and I’d rate this place as the best.

   I’m writing about my experience with Trident in Uxbridge claiming to be Mercedes Specialists. I have dropped in a C Class W205 to repair an oil leak. Car dropped in discussed prior to booking that the car would be properly checked to advise for where the leaks are from to confirm the issue gets resolved. However this wasn’t the case and to keep it simple the car was looked at from the bonnet only. Then the parts which they had in stock Cam Cover and Injector Seals they replaced said car is ready and advised for the car to be washed from the underneath (Also made it clear car was road tested and ready to go). The car however is leaking from other places which they did not check and completely disregarded even after requesting for them to check. Now part of the repairs have been done and 2 days wasted second day for them to actually check where all the leaks are coming from which should have been done first time round. They also advised they topped up oil however this wasn’t the case as the car was brought back on minimal oil barely touching the dipstick and was driven only 2 miles home and checked so no chance of it all leaking out, and if this was the case there would of been a puddle of oil on the floor where the vehicle was parked with visible fresh oil as they had not rectified the other areas of leak anyways. Any oil leak always needs to be checked for thoroughly and requires cleaning and monitoring to diagnose properly which they have failed to do. I could have went to a garage that works on all vehicles and they would have cleaned up top to bottom to check and then repair all areas of leak. Got annoyed when discussing with them and were saying “are you telling me how to do my job” “been in this years” and just not what you want to deal with. Avoid they have given me a new quotation of £1200 with all the leaks to be repaired will be checking elsewhere as I’m not confident from the first time round whether or not this is a guesstimate.

   Had my Mercedes C180 for a year and half and have been using Trident for all my servicing and MOT needs. They aren't the cheapest but you get more than you pay for as far as I'm concerned. No worries about being 'ripped off', all work is explained and agreed before being carried out, any time I have a minor issue I can drop the car off and get it checked, usually same day, fluids topped up and bulbs changed for free, always friendly and welcoming, what's not to like. Highly recommend Trident Auto Engineers. Steve and the team provide exemplary service, if every business was as customer focussed as Trident life would be stress free.

   I’ve been using this garage for the past 4 years and it’s a great alternative to a main dealer garage. They clearly are experts in the field and I’ve relied on them to service, MOT and deal with any issues on my Mercedes. They give an honest appraisal on any work that needs doing and if it’s urgent or not. For small faults which I’ve not had a clue how to fix they’ve been welcoming to drop it by to take a quick look and fix on the spot when possible. An honest, reliable garage providing a quality service.

   Really impressed with the quality, honesty and MB knowledge at this place. Have taken my previous mercs there several times and never had any problems. So now trust them with my latest 6.3 V8 Beast. Had 2 services and MOTs so far. Also saved me money on diagnostics as also much cheaper than the local main dealer where I had bad experiences in the past.
