Halfords 380 P21/5W Car Bulb Twin Pack 25% longer life I bought a double pack less than 6 months ago , the bulb blew recently and stopped all my break lights working absolute rubbish bulb, The staff recommended lucas bulbs, not Halfords own bulbs, expensive lesson learnt. Staff helpfup . Product useless. I am now going to buy the specialist screwdriver and decent bulbs and change them myself.

Booked an appointment to have work done at a time which fitted around my work schedule. I received a message two days before the appointment to say that it had been rescheduled.to a later date at an earlier time.No consultation or explanation given. Needles to say the man who worked on my car did an excellent job.

Liam was totally brilliant! He smiled, he chatted and he was genuine. He clearly knew his stuff, and carried out my battery replacement quickly and efficiently. He delivered 5* service from the moment I arrived. However, as a Health & Safety specialist, I would suggest Halfords look at providing their employees with some sort of manual handling lifting aid, to assist with the battery lifting process. Currently it involves; lifting, leaning and twisting, which will lead to long term spine issues.

This is a special shout out to Jennifer who was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable when I had an issue with a flat battery a couple of days ago - customer service at its best. I have used the fitting service a few times here now and have always had a good experience.

Trevor and Nick did a super job installing all the bits for the roof bars and box. Then they walked through the removal and reinstall process as well. Overall a great experience.

Amazing service! Chris helped us to choose baby car seat. So much patience, professional service and he even installed it in our car. Impossible to get the right product without this customer service. Thank you much!

It was ok, but I bought a folding bike online and the Halfords employee didn’t even ask if I needed a demo on how the bike could fold down. I have been riding a folding commuting bike for years. Not all catches on folding bikes work the same way? He was more concerned about selling me a 3yr care plan? Furthermore the free 6week bike service to tighten up cables etc on new bikes is now no longer free.

On 03/01/23, my friend and I went to Halfords in Byfleet to purchase a bike each. We were served by Anthony, who ordered 2 ‘Carrera Subway 2’ bikes for collection. We were advised they were very likely to be in by the following Sunday (08/01/23). We also reserved 2 bike locks, 2 mudguards and one helmet. We were advised that if we bought these items with the bike, we would receive 50% off the bike lock and 10% off the other items. Therefore, we left them reserved in-store and were told to await an email confirming the bikes were in stock and assembled. Anthony discounted the bikes from £380 down to £350 due to a mislabelling in store and was generally very helpful. We didn’t receive an email by the weekend and on 12/01/23 we decided to go to the store to check on the status of the order. We approached Shaun, who without an apology, advised us that they no longer make Carrera Subway 2s, so they cannot be ordered. We simply showed him the Halfords website, which proved the opposite as well as the receipt we received on the 3rd, which showed two of these bikes marked as reserved. Upon checking the system, he advised us that nothing had been ordered, again without an apology. However, Shaun offered to honour the £350 we were initially promised if we ordered them to be built and assembled. We were already apprehensive, but the match in the powder barrel was that he could not honour any discount on any other items, despite what we were promised. He only apologised when we were beginning to consider cancelling the order. Overall, he was very rude and unhelpful, only checking whether the bikes were in their stock room once prompted by a colleague. Considering all this, we decided to cancel our orders and do what we should’ve done all along: support a local store.

Although the online chat said they had my item in store, they didn't. The guy on the counter looked out back for me, then checked on the system to help me and went above and beyond to reserve me the item at another store with stock. Really helpful and lovely staff so couldn't ask for better.

Byfleet halfords, Arranged to collect my bike, arrived to be told that the bike wasn't there and they were waiting for delivery. I mentioned I had recieved an email 1 week before to say it had arrived, after a quick look it turns out it was there all along. Then made to feel like they were doing me a favour by willing to put it together if I was to wait 45mins whilst advising me how they are normally done the day before. Felt like he was just making it up as he went along. I came back 1 hour to collect and at no point did the man offer an apology for wasting my time. Poor service in my opinion.
