A hidden gem in the heart of Nether Edge. A small theatre but this fits perfectly within it's idyllic setting.
A contemporary sister to The Crucible, the Merlin is a most welcoming and efficient 200-seat theatre in Sheffield's leafy Nether Edge area. It forms part of Ruskin Mill Trust's local educational provision for neurodiverse young people. A lovely space with an equally innovative meeting room above. Photos show EURYTHMY WEST MIDLANDS' performance EARTH AWAKE, celebrating the poetry of William Blake.
This is a lovely little theatre nestled into the residential area of Nether Edge. Though small, the recent refurbishment has done it wonders, and it now feels very professional.
I am part of Spectrum theatre and we performed here for our production of All Change. The backstage area is easy to navigate and the kitchen is very useful for when you need a drink! We are certainly performing here again in the future!
Lovely theatre, very good facilities. Semi-circular tiered, comfortable seating gives excellent views of the stage. Sound is also excellent. Limited parking on site but some road parking near by.
Lovely quaint theatre, set I'm some beautiful grounds. No alcohol is served on the premises but there was a small cafe serving drinks and cakes
Really great space for performance. Small amount of parking but plenty of on street parking. Cafe with lovely cake and filter coffee but no bar. Saw a great production of Twelfth Night with my dear friend Julia Bisby which I really enjoyed.
