   I urge nobody to use this business. If I could give less than a star I would. I purchased a 15kg butane cylinder on Saturday for £75. The first cylinder they tried to give me was completely empty so I was asked to get one from the cage behind the shop. This one also felt light but as it was locked up with tags I took the old shop keeper by his word. This cylinder was for my 64 year old disabled mother who uses this to light a gas fire to keep her warm. I have only Tuesday, only 2 days later, attempted to turn on the fire to find this cylinder also empty. When I rung to shop to try and rectify the situation, I was met with a very defensive and rude old man who didnt want to help or take any responsibility. This has been the worst business I have dealt with in years and urge everyone not to do business with this man. I have noticed from the reviews that this is not the first time he has refused to refund or exchange. I truly hope his business fails as you can not treat customers like this.

   My wife went into this store today to get a light bulb for our oven when asked for a receipt just in case if its not the correct light bulb the owner of the store said there is a no refund policy after she had already paid. he did not have any clear signs to state that the store has no refund or exchange policy. when challenged he said if he kept giving refunds the store will not make money. it was never a refund we was expecting however it would only have been an exchange in its original packaging and not opened or if we found this item to be defective and not working then this would only be our point of action to ask for an exchange. my wife stated the consumer law and the protection this provides to consumers however the store owner still said it doesn't apply to him and only applies to big businesses. the law states You'll have legal rights if the item you bought is: broken or damaged ('not of satisfactory quality') unusable ('not fit for purpose') not what was advertised or doesn't match the seller's description. we are all for supporting smaller businesses and wouldn't expect a refund or exchange for our own errors but would expect one for an item that was damaged or not fit for purpose. please be aware before buying from this shop as he will not refund you for anything even though the law protects you from this.
