Visited the salon today for a cut and blow dry with Tam. Tam was lovely and very kind and understanding with regards to my having a condtion that causes my hair to fall out. I havent had my hair cut in a salon for 15 years! All my nerves and embarrassment quickly subsided after chatting with Tam about it and her giving me reassurance and advice on how best it should be cut within the parameters of what I wanted. I have come away from the salon with an amazing haircut and feeling much more confident about getting it cut professionally again (with Tam!) in the near future. I would also like mention Grace who cut both my daughters hair recently and did a great job on both. Thank you for the advice on how to maintain my daughters wild hair! She has been following your instructions and we are seeing a great improvement in the definition of her curls. No more frizz!

I had a really bad experience with this salon. I booked in person. The staff there said that after booking, a confirmation message would come. We waited for a day for the message. But the message never came. So the next day we went to the salon and confirmed our booking. Again, the message never came. But it was no big deal, the staff there said that my appointment was booked with them and that I just had to come on that date. But when we went there on the date of my appointment, I didn't have an appointment. They sent me a message saying that my appointment was canceled on the day I booked. The behavior of the staff and their management is completely irresponsible and unacceptable. I have had a really bad experience with them.i take leave for this and it wias unused and i lost my time

I came in for a refit appointment, clearly requesting both a refit and a blow-dry in my original booking message (which was confirmed). I arrived with product build-up in my hair, fully expecting it to be washed and dried , which is standard for a refit, especially at this price point. Instead, they refitted my extensions onto greasy, unwashed hair, which was not only unhygienic but extremely uncomfortable. My scalp was left itchy, irritated, and flaking, and I had to go home and wash it myself — which caused even more stress and physical discomfort and also huge inconvenience when I had an event that day. When I questioned it, they claimed a blow-dry wasn’t booked on the system , when it clearly stated I’d asked for one on my booking message and was confirmed . They later tried to shift blame onto me for arriving slightly late, which was a separate issue entirely. They should have told me they didn’t have time for a blow dry if this was the case instead of proceeding a refit on unwashed dirty hair , as this is a hygiene issue. They then offered a future blow-dry (which completely missed the point as I needed what I booked for that day) and have since ignored follow-up messages, ,requesting a partial refund at bare minimum as a resolution as I’ve spent £100 to walk out feeling worse with greasy hair and an irritated itchy scalp due to their booking error. Despite saying they’d respond they still haven’t. The service was poor, communication was worse, and I was left feeling dismissed and severely gaslit. I’ve also noticed serious hygiene issues — no clarification about needing clean hair for a refit, and no clear blow-dry option during booking. To improve, they need to: • Clearly communicate that the £100 refit does NOT include a wash or blow-dry • Ensure stylists don’t perform services on visibly dirty scalps • Train staff to confirm bookings accurately and professionally Not only was my hair refit done poorly — with visible gaps, loose sections, and parts that weren’t properly secured — but I was also falsely accused of “blackmail” simply for asking for a partial refund after not receiving the full service. I left the salon with greasy, flaky hair that couldn’t be styled and still had to wash and blow dry it myself at home after paying £100. When I raised this politely, I was dismissed and made to feel like I was in the wrong. It’s upsetting to be treated this way, especially after trusting them with my hair Really disappointing experience , wouldn’t recommend, and I definitely won’t be returning.

NOT award winning! Booked my daughter in for haircut with junior stylist India for the first time; no introduction, no consultation before my daughter was taken by the receptionist to wash her hair, did not ask if she had any allergies or preferences or even if she wanted her hair washed.. I just booked her in for a cut. The receptionist who was washing my daughters hair did so without much effort/care, didn’t chat to my daughter, did a lack lustre head massage without asking if she would like this or not and then when she finished, dried her hands on the towel she then placed around my daughters head. My daughter was then left waiting at the sink for over 10 mins while India finished with her client. I spoke to the receptionist, asked if this was normal to wash hair before talking to the client, said she just washes hair, didn’t say much else but the manager (I think, she didn’t introduce herself) came over, said this was normal and that they were an award winning salon, I explained that I wanted a nice experience for my daughter and so far not impressed. Manager reassured me so I decided to give them the benefit.. didn’t get much better to be honest, my daughter was called over, had a very brief consultation, was not offered any refreshment and got a basic haircut, not really what she wanted but was told this was not achievable. My daughter said India was nice, but not very confident and felt she couldn’t ask her to do anything regarding styling afterwards.. whole experience was awkward, unwelcoming and money grabbing. Manager didn’t check my daughter or I was happy before leaving but it’s ok, I don’t be returning, Merry Xmas.

Had to wait 7 weeks for a facial appointment (my plan was to book in regularly as the location of the salon was convenient - so worth the wait) An hour before my appointment I called to confirm, only to be told the therapist had gone home sick and should have told me. My number was taken again and I was told the therapist would call to rearrange. 2 weeks later still no call. Sickness can’t be helped, but manners can! This is the 2nd time for a failed appointment.
