If you need to sort your car electrics, this is the place! They are super helpful and friendly, honest and efficient. Update: I've now been back for several issues, and anything they don't do they'll send you to the right place
Excellent service. Have used these guys to rebuild numerous alternators over the years. Once you find a decent shop that does reliably good work at a sensible price, they become your ‘go to’ place. This should be your go to place.
I called Charge N Start to receive assistance with an electrical fault but was advised to speak to another car specialist, and once I called again to ask if they could assist as it was an electrical issue, the receptionist told me that they would not work with my vehicle. I received very poor customer service on the phone, was left feeling very upset. The person on the phone was very short and abrupt with a rude attitude towards me, the customer. She then hung up on me - highly unprofessional. Do not recommend.
Great service from all staff involved, from the engineers to the receptionist when I dropped off my car. I had an ABS fault light on my dash and another mechanic recommended Charge N Start. I booked it in on the same day, the job was complete within 2 hours. They kept me updated throughout the entire process, and informed me exactly how much it would cost. I'd recommend Charge N Start to anyone who wishes to diagnose electrical faults and doesn't know what might have caused it.
Fantastic service from these guys today, my battery was dead but my recovery service had said it was my alternator and local mechanic had said over the phone it was battery, they diagnosed it was the battery and not the alternator saving me a small fortune. Thank you for the quick replacement and fitting.

Wonderful customer service here. Took my car here for some rewiring and the job was done within a few hours and for a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff. Overall can’t fault anything here. Will definitely be returning if I have any other problems.
Friendly, got my car booked in quick and they fixed my problem for a fair price. Can't ask for any more than that...!! This is the second time I've used Charge N Start. Both times they fixed a problem I couldn't for the life of me figure out. Advised of the price upfront on the phone. For diagnostics & first hours labour it was £72. That's what I paid and I'm happy to have my motor back fully operational. I will continue to use this company and recommend them to anyone I know who has Auto Electrical issues.
Excellent service. Was sent by my husband to deal with on my own and the guys I spoke to Liam and Peter were friendly and helpful. Solved the issue I had with my car in next to no time, (that had cost me fortune else where and had been ripped off). These guys are honest and get the job done. I highly recommend them and wish I could take my car there for everything but alas they only specialise on certain areas.
