   I had the pleasure of being served by Lydia during my recent visit to Miller & Carter, and she was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome with her warm smile and friendly energy. Lydia was attentive, professional, and clearly knew the menu inside out—her recommendations were spot on. What impressed me most was her ability to anticipate our needs without us having to ask. She struck the perfect balance of being present without hovering, and every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful. Lydia truly elevated our dining experience, and she’s a real asset to the Miller & Carter team. We’ll definitely be back thanks to her!

   Honestly what a disappointment AGAIN! The first time I come I had awful service, it took over an hour n half for steaks to come, we hadn’t ordered starters or any other food then 1 main each. Steak was so fatty and wasn’t that hungry by time it came , but thought we would give it another go as it’s supposed to be so good. Wish I never bothered coming it was a night of wasted £200 for the 4 of us. We pre booked and asked for a booth as one of our party is in a wheelchair, yet when we arrived no booth just normal seating. For the money your paying to eat here I expect absolutely amazing service, very tasty food and not to be waiting over an hour yet we were highly dissatisfied. Took 25 mins for us to receive our first drinks? Very Poor.Steak came over an hour and half after seating and all 3 steaks were cooked wrong and so fatty. The birthday girls meal wasn’t even correct, wrong steak, cooked wrong and wrong sauce. She then had to wait 15 mins for a new meal to be cooked and everyone else had finished their food by then. What a celebration for her 21st who chose to come here! The meal come and was what she asked for, however the steak was so fatty just like the rest of ours and the tomato wasn’t even cooked? A small detail but when her original meal was totally wrong you’d expect this one to be perfect no? The girl who served us was lovely, extremely apologetic for the mess up and even brought as brownie for free at the end for the birthday girl. Honestly such a let down the food is not worth the amount of money you pay and how long you’re waiting. We were sat for over 2 hours long and most of the time was sat waiting not eating which is a joke. This is my second time with the same service and wait times I will not be returning, so un happy this is the experience my sister got for her 21st.

   Really nice place, with lovely staff and the food was OK- but I have definitely had better steaks. Unfortunately, I think we caught them on a bad day. My chips and steak were severely undercooked (but still tasted good) and the rest of the food was very bland. The deserts were lovely, although the mini chocolate brownie was very sickly.

   We ate at Miller & Carter Greenmount for my birthday and it was a fantastic experience. The food is incredible the duck confit was phenomenal (compliments to the chef, Christian) , and all the staff we engaged with were so friendly and positive. Our server Louise made sure we had everything we needed and for such great quality food we felt that 3 courses with additional sides for 2 people came to under £90!

   The staff are amazing! Can't fault them. The food is well presented but average at best. The 'lobster tails" are quite big prawns. The rib eye cost £30, and I've had better quality from Aldi, for a fiver. Luckily they had tooth picks, because, after half a steak, I had to stop eating to spend the rest of the evening dislodging it from my teeth. If you've got more money that sense, this is the place for you, but I feel spanked.
