   Asked for t-bone was given this and when I complained was told because it was well done that’s why it shrank but the obvious pink meat on one side showed it had been rushed. No excuse where the fillet had disappeared too

   A really nice hidden gem! We tried Char Steakhouse for the first time recently and were not disappointed. Everything we had was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious - and at reasonable prices too! All the staff were friendly and attentive. It's only a small venue though so would advise to prebook.

   Our first time here and certainly won't be our last. From walking in to leaving everything was perfect. We were even given complimentary champagne for the occasions we were celebrating and offered vouchers for their off premises bar too.

   I would 100% recommend this place. £15 for a 3 course dinner is great value for money. The Yorkshire pudding starter was great. Recommend that! The rump steak was tender and lovely. Perfectly cooked. The burger was great with a plate full of chips too! If I was to be picky. The deserts could improve a little. The brownie was more like a dense cake. And wasn’t gooey, but was chocolatey. The sticky toffee pudding didn’t taste much of toffee. It needed more toffee sauce. However, I must state. Still nice and great value for money. I would go back and I look forward to as well.

   Average. It's just plain average. 18oz t bone steak, £28. An honest and frank review. The staff were all very friendly. The place is a strange shape. Horse shoe like. It's dated and tired with plastic flowers randomly placed everywhere. They need cleaning.. the whole place does. It seems like blokes have been told to dress the place and not done a very good job. It needs a deep clean by a professional, and it needs a womans decorative touch. The coffee machine needs to have a good clean and the bar area. Let's not mention the toilet. For god's sake, mop the floor, clean the toilet bowl, and get some bleach down! It's these things that put you off. If everywhere else is dirty, god only knows what the kitchen is like. The food is ok, my steak was perfect and my wife liked her lemon chicken. Its just the cleanliness that lets it down. Misty glasses, dirty fridge doors, empty juice bottles just left out after mixing cocktails, dirty expreso nozzles, filthy toilet.. all adds up. What is the army camouflage wall about?

   Lovely little place, we went for afternoon bottomless brunch, cocktails were lovely, food was OK, nothing special and very small portions. Staff were great though and we got given a 2 for 1 drinks voucher to use in their bar a few doors down.

   Had a fantastic meal.. I had tempura prawns then fillet steak chips skin on … … the steak was brilliant and the chips were gorgeous.… husband had risotto starter then fillet steak also. The staff were friendly and cannot fault anything. Will definitely go back.

   One of my favourite places to eat. The food is excellent, the cocktails are amazing, the music and atmosphere is always spot on and the staff/owners, well, where do I start? They are one of the highlights, friendly, professional, efficient, welcoming, just lovely lovely people. I can't recommend the place enough. It's fantastic and they also have some amazing deals too, half price steak Wednesday & Thursday, bottomless brunches, great specials, chefs who really know how to cook and combine flavours. It's a great place, it's not a huge restaurant, it's intimate, cosy and filled with nice people.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
