5-Star Experience at DD Hair and Beauty with Gina! I recently visited DD Hair and Beauty for a much-needed haircut, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Gina did an absolutely fantastic job! From the moment I sat down in her chair, she listened carefully to what I wanted and gave expert advice on what would work best for my hair type. Her attention to detail was incredible, and she made sure to shape and style my hair in a way that perfectly suits my face and lifestyle. The cut is flawless, and it has such a natural flow. I left feeling refreshed, confident, and truly pampered! Not only is Gina skilled, but she is also friendly and approachable, making the whole experience a pleasure. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and thoughtful stylist. I'll definitely be returning for my next haircut!
My first time at this saloon today . I had the most delightful young lady called "Lilly ". She was very professional ,listened to me and made me feel very comfortable throughout. She did an amazing colour and cut today . Already for my next time with her in a lovely saloon Thank you Lilly Debra x

Dan has looked after my hair for many years & now at DD Hair & Beauty. I really love the salon from the free parking, warm welcome at reception & cleanliness. Dan is great in that he gives you his professional recommendations of what style suits you, length, colour etc. I was very wary of having extensions a few years ago, but Dan looks after them so well & has passed on his knowledge to help me look after them in between appointments. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan as a top stylist & the salon in Chester. Sue Merrill
My advice to new clients is to ask for a list of the procedures promised, especially if you prepay. However, it would save you the disappointment.
I cannot recommend Mode Hairdressers Frodsham Street Chester highly enough!! I was recommended by a lady whose hair looked amazing! “It was Megan at Mode”. I have extremely thick unruly hair. It was mid length & dull! I was tired of going to have my hair done elsewhere & feeling like they didn’t listen or take the time. I always came out feeling like they gave me a ‘ mummy, frumpy’ cut. NOT AT MODE! MEGAN LISTENED! TOOK HER TIME! ASKED ME AT EVERY STAGE IF I WAS HAPPY & I LEFT FEELING FUNKY, FANTASTIC & THRILLED with my cut!!!! All the staff were fab but most of all the cut is AMAZING!!! At last I’ve found my go to hairdresser! Thank you! thank you ! Meg, I feel a million dollars!!
Asked for an ashy brown or mushroom brown balayage but the results are disappointing. The initial tone given was very blonde (something I specified I didn’t want) and so the stylist corrected it by putting on toner for a 2nd time. The final result was flat plain brown hair which is a barely lighter than my natural colour. Literally looks like I didn’t get anything done - friends and family didn’t notice anything changed. Stylist and salon were nice though although slightly sloppy (e.g. got bleach on my face when highlighting, was very rough when washing and toning hair).
Little bit disappointed consider I payed £49 just for a wash, cut and dry… the girl who washed my hair didn’t do a good job at all. One reason why I love going to the hairdressers is because they wash my hair so well and massage my scalp. But here the girl just put the shampoo on and spread it around my hair for about 5 seconds then washed it off. Same with conditioner. The cut was better, the lady was very friendly and reassuring but I just felt it was a little bit rushed and not sure I’d pay £49 for it again..
Couldn’t fault the salon or Meg. She’s a little bundle of bouncy joy and I loved it! I had half head headlights, toner & extensions re-tightening which was reasonably priced and I’m thrilled with it. She couldn’t do enough for me and even made sure the sun wasn’t in my eyes! The salon is really nice and welcoming too, excellent facilities with the drinks menu and parking. I have finally found somewhere I will look forward to getting my hair done! Highly recommend x
