   I wanted to give 4 stars or more, but I left today genuinely disappointed by the complete lack of kindness shown to my 10-year-old daughter. The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is because the nails and nail art themselves were lovely. I booked this appointment as a special treat for her 10th birthday. She arrived excited, picture in hand, ready to show the design she’d chosen. We were seated straight away, and I cheerfully mentioned to the nail tech that it was her birthday and she had a photo of the nails she wanted. The response? A look of disinterest. No “happy birthday,” no smile, not even basic acknowledgement. The nail tech glanced at the design, said she could do it, and carried on in complete silence. For the entire appointment she didn’t engage with my daughter once — no friendly chat, no effort to make her feel at ease, nothing. I watched my daughter trying to enjoy what should’ve been her first fun, memorable salon experience, but instead she looked awkward, uncomfortable, and confused by the cold treatment. It broke my heart. What should have been a birthday highlight turned into something she’ll remember for all the wrong reasons. I’ve had decent treatments here before, but this experience has absolutely ensured I will NOT be returning — and I’ll be sharing this with friends and family. Such a shame.

   It feels like a massive shame to rate this salon a 2/5, as the staff were super friendly and my LVL lashes were good. However, the HD brows treatment I got alongside this was massively disappointing and I left really upset with the results. I wasn’t asked how I wanted my brows styled, and consequently they ended up a lot thinner than I would have liked (particularly on the end of the brow). Additionally, a lot of stray hairs were left that I didn’t want (i.e., between the eyebrows). Really upset about this and wouldn’t recommend the HD brows treatment at all.

   Been to Bank twice now, thrilled with the results. Mary Gaine did my BIAB nails the first time then Isobel Witty today, lovely nails both times. Would highly recommend Bank Beauty’s professionalism!

   I have been visiting this salon for 3 years. I have gone to Charlotte everytime. She is the lash expert hands down and always does a fabulous job. I always leave feeling relaxed and pampered. Would highly recommend the salon to anyone. It’s always clean, welcoming and the staff are lovely.

   Attend regularly for my nails done with either Emily or Sam very pleased with treatments both always so friendly and make you feel welcome .All he staff are lovely in Bank beauty nothing too much trouble would definately recommend to others .Thank you .

   3 times I’ve booked appointments here and 3 times they’ve messed up my appointments and just before my holidays . The one appointment they did manage to do was eyebrow lamination. My eyes swelled up and when I asked if they had used the same product as my patch test they said they could find the patch test I’d had. I went to another beautician for advise and they said my eyes hadn’t been laminated but waxed . Needless to say I won’t be going there again.

   So I’ve been a client on Karen’s for years. Since opening Bank Beauty there has been a massive step change in the offer of treatments and services, this coupled with an environment that promotes relaxation, enjoyment and quality. I cannot recommend this one stop shop enough. If you want the full package or just your nails done, there is everything on offer under one roof at affordable prices and extemporary quality. I recently got ready there before my wedding and the attention to detail was second to none. Go on you deserve it...... call the salon or follow Them online to see what all the buzz is about! Liz x
