   CD Dent in Finchley was very nice. The building houses multiple companies but the reception desk was helpful and friendly. The woman providing me with a scan was very nice and helpful. She explained everything in good detail and the process was seamless.

   I arrived early, but did not have to wait. Luckily, the member of staff checked and noticed I had studs in my ears, which I had not thought about when heeding the warning not to wear jewellery above chest height and leaving off my necklace! Very quick and efficient procedure.

   Excellent service from very professional staff at the Birmingham Centre. Due to my disability (Scoliosis of the spine) the Radiologist took care to make the necessary adjustments in positioning me so the C.T. Scanning of my lower jawbone was not obstructed by my shoulder positioning. It did take a few takes but the final view was satisfactory for my forthcoming lower jaw implant work for a new denture. I would recommend CT Dent Ltd Birmingham for Implant Jaw CT Scanning.

   The map for arrival sent with the information was not clear. The description could have been clearer. Obviously done by somebody who already knows the area well. On arrival we used the phone to call for the number to enter the carpark ( what happens if you do not have a mobile phone with you?) and were told it was 15 12. There was a large pad on the left with double numbers on it including what we required. After several attempts we realised that there was another normal (0 - 9) keypad on the right side through which we could gain entry. When we got to the front 'automatic door' it did not open and we pressed the small button on the left upright. This gave an incomprehensible message but did not gain us entry. We tried it again to no avail. Then we saw low down on our left another large keypad! Phew, entry gained at last. We would have taken the lift to the second floor but didn't want to chance our luck again. The receptionist was pleasant and courteous, offering coffee or tea and apologies for the short delay. This we did not mind and the person carrying out the procedure was efficient and afterwards explained what the scan showed. It did seem strange that in a new building we had to exit the building onto the street before being able to gain entry to the car park again. The important part, the scan, was very good but the admin needs looking at. p.s. The patient referral form did not contain date and time of appointment but it did note that it was an impossibility that I may be pregnant.

   A cold and cheerless visit to a bland, poorly signed and sparsley staffed 2nd floor collection of corridor offices. Not helped by having to attempt to park up outside in an already gridlocked side road to make a phone call to the office reception for a code to enter the rear car park. Surely this code could have been issued beforehand to prevent causing road rage given this was a specific appointment time. I eventually arrived at the reception at 11:45am, 5 minutes before my appointment time (11:50am) and sat alone for a further 10 minutes before the receptionist reappeared to take me through for my scan with 'Su Su' who told me she was dressed in several additional layers of clothing as she did not like the cold. For some reason she asked me if I had a kettle whilst waiting for her computer (which she said was slow today) to load up! Not an experience I was anticipating.
