It was very easy to book, receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Location was easy to find. The sonographer was so professional, made me feel very comfortable and the experience was was not painful at all.

Very pleasant experience with such friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. They go above and beyond to hear you and make you comfortable and happy. The machines and equipment for scans are new and accurate. I recommend everyone to book their scans with them. Many thanks to the receptionist and sonographer who helped me today.
I have just had to have a couple of scans for IVF treatment, over the last week. The whole experience at Ultrasound Direct was so reassuring. I meet two different sonographers (Katie and Erica) over the week and both were so professional and informative about what they were doing. The scans can be quite an anxious time regarding the whole IVF journey but the team made me feel super relaxed and confident in their skills in the scanning and looking for what was needed. I definitely would come back to be scanned at this clinic - even if I travel over an hour to come here. Thank you to the two ladies who helped as chaperones, all so kind and professional. Keep up the good work.
Kristie and Katie were absolutely amazing clinicians. They answered all of my many questions with patience and care, as fertility is something I’ve always struggled with. Even when it came to understanding what treatment I might need, they were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to support me. Both are truly lovely women and a real credit to Ultrasound Direct Birmingham
Waited over 2 hours for our appointment due to staff having covid, but nobody was aware. We waited over 2 hours for another Dr to arrive... As the nurse hadn't turned up for work, the admin receptionist who welcomed us was unaware she would be absent, the management should be better to avoid this, how can you have over 27 patients booked for scans but staff are off sick.... how???
I was late to my appointment. I was not given a chance to explain why I was late instead, I was interrupted and told I’ve missed my whole appointment and they would try to see me. Once I was called into the room for my scan, the welcoming was very hostile considering the nature of my appointment. My whole appointment seemed to be a hi and bye situation.. Once I left, I stood outside to book a cab and heard the Dr. And nurse complaining about my lateness and another patient who was late earlier in the week. I would not come back here.
Experience was not good, I don’t know whether it was because I was an NHS patient and maybe they possibly prioritise and are kinder to their private paying clients but it was really rushed, the man that done the ultrasound was quite blunt and rude. I just felt uncomfortable the whole time. I would never pay to go back here there are so many nicer ultrasound clinics around.
I have been here quite a few times and on the last few occasions I have not really been satisfied with the experience I have encountered. I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and the lady who scanned me (Fiona) really scared me with some of the comments she was making. The booking system is useless, I was promised that someone would call me back to book my complimentary re scan as the booking system was down. Nobody ever did call me back. I had to call them back, even then I was expected to pay for the scan! When I arrived for my appointment, it took a good 30 minutes to sort this issue out with the complimentary re scan as they could not find my details on the system. What a shambles. I will never come back here again. My cyst had gone, but in those six weeks I had extreme anxiety and caused me a lot of stress. Avoid this place.
