   Major service paid for upfront, on collecting car, oil was at bare minimum. I was told maybe it just needed a top up. They say as part of major service they do a test drive; on collecting the car, it had done less than 0.1 miles. I am now left wondering if the oil filters and all other filters plus brake fluid supposed to be changed were changed at all. Where is the quality check to see if 5.2L of oil is really in engine? My fault as this is not the first time I have had to come back after a service at this place to ask for book to be stamped, car OBC to be reset. I am now going to spend more money with a different mechanic to check if filters are new as I can’t trust this now. Quick to suggest additional work but the requested unsatisfactorily done. VERY Disappointed!

   Booked my car in online for a tyre change. Plenty of slots available and easy process to book. I received several reminders of my booking day/time. At the service centre, the staff were helpful and friendly and completed the job in the time stated. Most of all the tyre price was very competitive. Would be happy to use Halfords Autocentre again.

   Tend to use this Halfords regularly for both car's MOT's as short walk from home so convenient to drop off and walk back without feeling like I'm going out of the way. Last week got 2 tyres and full wheel alignment and very happy with the work. This week major service booked in, couple of bits needing topping up/replacing all done future advisories given and Antonio, manager, was very friendly and helpful as well as giving advice on how to get some money off/back (e.g. through free motoring club sign up).

   Not a good experience... Booked in for one date, received a call to say they could do a day earlier... fine by me... took in at 08:30 1st job... Great... lost myself for an hour and a half in Staines as agreed... returned at 10:00 to find alignment had not been started... waited another hour and a half... now 3 hours. Got in the car... (cream interior)... filthy... the mechanic had scuffed his boots all over the sill and left hand prints on the door fabric and interior handle. Fortunately had some surface wipes in the car due to Covid precautions, so able to clean it off immediately before I drove off and they got ingrained in the surfaces... Pleased to get away without getting involved in a row... (which I felt would have been warranted). So now 11:35... Couldn't waste any more time, as other things to do. This particular site needs to get its act together and not promise a service standard it can't deliver. Very disappointed, as experiences at other sites and locations have been much much better.
