I rarely write a review this bad but omg this is the worst meal I've had in a long time. Absolutely no flavour whatsoever and pretty basic options that are hard to get wrong. We had the vegetarian options so can't comment on the quality of the meat dishes. The service wasn't great as the staff just need training up.

We had the most wonderful evening celebrating my birthday. Both Bobby and June were fantastic from start to finish. And the Tuna was out of this world! Would definitely recommend :)

I was staying in the hotel for my 30th birthday and booked dinner for after the spa. The staff were so friendly and the food didn’t disappoint! We had the Lobster Mac and cheese, cheese Soufflee, ragu pasta and beef burger. All delicious. The new manager went the extra mile for my birthday, making us feel so special and welcome. I will certainly be back and thanks again to the wonderful team for an amazing night :)

Surprised to have received this request - I wasn’t going to complain, but since you asked, here goes… This whole experience was a shambles, That started from the minute we walked in to the restaurant and it took 10 mins for a host to return to the desk and seat us. I tried telling him twice that we had a booking, though he didn’t listen and just said ‘yeah, we’ll get you seated’. Importantly, had he taken my details and sat me on my booked table, they would know that we had dining credit towards the meal, as part of our package stay. The waitress who looked after us throughout was useless bless her - had to ask 3 times and wait 15 minutes for a bottle of Peroni, had to explain twice why we wanted side plates to share a starter, which was met with much bemusement. My friend had her starter plate taken from in-front of her, whilst she was half way through eating - she had to finish her mouthful to speak and ask the guy to return her food. Then came the mains. Great quality steak and amazing value, which we enjoyed, though we had to ask for steak knives. When it came to paying, we said that we’d like to pay on card, though the lady waitress insisted 3 times that she needed our room number. After 15 minutes and much confusion, due to the manager fobbing off our waitress and sending her back to us, which we could see across the dining room was due to the supervisor/manageress being too busy trying to chat with another dining guest, Tommy Fury. Our waitress finally removed our dining credit and split the bill, so my friend and I could pay half each on card. We left, laughing to ourselves at the hilarity of the disorganisation and thought that was the end of it. That was until we came to check out and the dining tab had been billed to the room - we couldn’t believe it! We had to get up our online banking to prove to reception that we had indeed paid the night before, in order for this to be wiped. All in all a complete shambles. Luckily I was with my friend, so it was laughable, but it’s put me off ever purchasing this as a gift for friends or family, in fear of what they may experience!

Delicious food, excellent service, marvellous concierge. Will definitely visit again. Was here as part of a Champneys spa package.

Unless your name is Stephen Purdew, the service in this restaurant is absolutely appalling. Us and the table next to us were left waiting for our breakfast, and when it arrived it was wrong. I can only assume this was because all of the staff were waiting on Stephen Purdew hand and foot and paid no attention to other guests.

“Utterly Gorgeous” - great menu, strong flavours presented with exquisite perfection. We take of our hats to a great young waitress “Alysson” who was really on the ball, eyes everywhere, ready to pre-empt the needs of her diners! We were very impressed. Pity the managers present didn’t show the same attention to their guests & were noticeably absent for most of the evening until a special guest arrived & they both showed keeness to impress. Sad that they might have been trying to impress the wrong guest!! The duck was lovely, the plaice was minimalistic at best and though tasty failed to satisfy. It was good to visit a restaurant experienced in the handling & drinking of champagne. Their prices were not extortionate & it was good to be served the bubbles into champagne flutes. Note to management: champagne pours better into chilled glasses...ours were hot-to-touch!!
