   Just terrible MOT where they couldn’t find anything wrong so they pick on the tyres which had tiny 0.5-0.75cm tear and used it as an excuse to fail the MOT! I had another company to replace the tyres as Halfords didn’t have my size in stock and the other company said it should be advisory rather than a fail. Lesson learnt never get my MoT at Halfords even if it was free which it isn’t.

   I’ve done my MOT for my van yesterday everything was brilliant thank you to John and Neil. But I can’t say the same about the lady at the reception very rude and talks a lot. She was serving to another costumer and that’s fine by me but after waiting for about 10min and she was still serving the costumer. I got up and ask is there anything I need to sing as I need to go somewhere and her response was I can only serve a person a time. I said to her I’ve just asked that’s all you don’t need to respond like this I find her not helpful at all very rude.

   Dave was very helpful- I rocked up on the off chance as a warning sign was on - diagnosed a big nail in the tyre. Was going to replace it which I agreed to but upon inspection said it could be fixed so saved me a lot of money! Very honest! Very happy! Did it there and then

   I had an excellent experience booking my MOT via Halfords in Borehamwood. I got a next day appointment. The receptionist was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. I was kept abreast of the work. The MOT was included in an annual Halfords membership scheme which represents excellent value for money. I came in with a puncture which they repaired for a fraction of the cost of a replacement tyre. I was impressed at the fact there was no attempt to upsell or move me to a more costly option.

   I had a great experience at Halfords! The two receptionists, Wendy and a gentleman whose name I didn’t catch, were both super helpful and friendly. They were happy to accommodate my BMW even though I arrived about 15 minutes late for my MOT on a Friday evening. The whole process was quick and efficient, and I really appreciate their excellent customer service. Highly recommend this branch… thank you for making things so easy!

   I took my car to this place for my annual MOT and service. My first time using them. I had NEVER had any problems with my car in all of the years that I have had it. Collected my car and broke down twice on the way home after the car started juddering badly. Then broke down once more outside my property. To date the vehicle is still not driving properly. They only get a star as one of the Managers came straight out to help me and try to sort this issue out.

   Very poor of customer servicing. Waited 2 hours on the phone and send friend get in touch with the reception desk. Rearrange booking without informing the clients and when arrive there are no parts even if we come for second visit. Usually, on second visit the service centre should have everything ready to carry on servicing. Very poor. I feel these guys don’t won’t to work. I’ve heard similar story from another client.

   Despite a nightmare using the Halfords website / online booking etc, I contacted Halfords Autocentre directly as I urgently needed two tyres replaced on a car I'd just purchased for my son. I spoke with Christine at reception and she was excellent, personable, understanding and very helpful as was her colleague Phillip. All sorted now, I had 4 new tyres fitted for a great price, have now booked the car in for Brake Discs & pads next week. Great to get proper customer service. I'll be using Halfords Autocentre Borehamwood for everything going forwards. Thank you Christine and Phillip for your first class help and assistance, it's really been appreciated.

   I Booked my car in for an MOT at 8.30am. Check in was efficient and staff polite as always. They called me saying the car had failed the MOT as it needed just A NEW TYRE. I asked them could they do it today as the car was already with them. They informed me that they Are not taking on any new Work until OCTOBER due to Staffing Issues. They advised me to collect my car, have a tyre fitted elsewhere then go back to Halfords within 10 days for a Free Retest. I challenged this as it is only 1 Tyre but they said NO, Even when i turned up to collect my car I asked again and got the same response, even though they could see I was on crutches as I have mobility Issues. The man said we are short staffed & i'm just filling in today to help out. Absolutely Appalled by their lack of customer service and no consideration given to me due to my ongoing mobility issues. Currently been on hold to Halfords Head Office for 32 Minutes

   This garage is a joke! I’ve had two new tyres fitted which were not balanced properly. Went back and I was asked to come back, and booked 12 noon. When I went there I was told they made a mistake and were expecting me early in the morning even though I had a confirmation email. By now 3 visits and the guy kept arguing with me 30 minutes and did not complete the work. He could have have the job twice by now. He sent me away to come back next week all the while knowing it wasn’t safe to drive my car. Booked 4th visit and finally got the tyres balanced properly after waiting 2.5 hours and the job only took 15 minutes. 4 visits for tyre change, and so much time wasted. People in this garage are unbelievably incompetent, ignorant. AVOID if you value your safety and time.
