Visited tonight and had a great experience! Mark, our waiter, was incredibly welcoming, patient, and attentive. He interacted brilliantly with our whole party and even remembered our names, which really made us feel valued. He’s a huge asset to the pub. The food was enjoyable and hit the spot, and as a regular customer, experiences like this are exactly why I keep coming back. Highly recommended!

Came for breakfast on Sunday morning with my family and can honestly say after staying in over 100 Premier Inns with work this was the best food and experience we’ve had. The buffet section had excellent choice and was all fresh and our hot breakfasts were perfect, my poached eggs were cooked to perfection!! We’ve always found the hot food at Premier Inn to be a bit hit and miss but the quality and presentation was on point here, the staff even though they were very busy were all friendly and had a smile on their faces, we look forward to visiting again in the near future.

It's ok. Bar drinks are expensive with only the usual chain pub choice, however wine at the table was very reasonable. Food (2 steaks ) were tasty. Chips (triple cooked of course) were good but of somewhat limited numbers. A voucher meant we (2 of us) had a cheap night out with steak dinner and wine for just over 40quid...if I had paid full price (should have been north of 65quid) I might feel short-changed. I probably wouldn't hurry back.

Service was good at first but then once we had our mains no one came back to us again. We were not offered any more drinks and sat with empty plates in font of us for around 20 minutes. We had to catch someone to ask for the bill in the end. We didn't order desserts as felt we were being ignored.

We visited on the Saturday 5th November 6PM, table of 4. It was apparent from the start they were short staffed, I have given 1 star for our waitress who was rushed off her feet and was pleasant and tried her best. The service from the kitchen was very slow, 3 of the meals were distinctly average but the the vegetarian grilled option was inedible burnt tiny shred of pepper, 1 small shrivelled mushroom cold baby mush of baked beans and mac cheese and rice 15.99 and an extra 99p for the rice, it was sent back to the kitchen but the manager who was walking about didn't come to our table to find out what the problem was and he had been told what had happened by the waitress, we were planning on having a dessert but we're too disgusted with what had happened. The kick In the teeth came when we were charged for the sent back meal and we produced our blue light card for discount, the waitress went to speak to the manger who in public view and in a very loud voice said no they can't have the meal taken off the bill and have the blue light discount and couldn't be bothered to come over.
Disgusting and very poor management ethos, won't be going back and suggest the waitress finds a better working environment and diners find a better restaurant to eat which there are many in Macclesfield.

We’ve had a lovely lunch out. The service by Mike (Front of House) was perfect; calamari was best my husband had ever had; all the food was delicious. Mike had also ensured our request for a chair with arms was accommodated. Honestly cannot think of an improvement that could be made. So 5/5. Thank you
