Great staff the nurse reception and docs and other reception especially the docs nurse reception security and nurses and health care assistants. I came in yday they were thorough with my chest and checks so attentive and skillful. My twin came with me for company and to see how I was. Many thanks Lisa orwin

Thank you to the entire hospital staff for taking such good care of the patients. From what I've noticed, almost all doctors, nurses, and support team are not only professional but also kind and compassionate. Much needed for a patient who is unwell.
I've have spent the last 6 hours sitting in the aptly named Waiting room and still no idea if or when I am going to be seen. The place is virtually empty. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you are in very urgent need. Just found out that there is a Quality Care Commission 29A notice against Good Hope for failing to come up to standards ( at least that is my understanding of it?) it's on the QCC website if you want to check it out. I'm unsure if it's for the whole place or just some of it. I am however sure I will never go back
The African lady nurse at the A&E entrance neglected a TYPE 1 DIABETIC & 8 month HIGH RISK PREGNANT patient with very high blood sugar level readings for 6+ hours (a life or death emergency). When asked how long it would take to be seen, the nurse said “everyone is important, just let us do our job”. Shocking behavior, she was speaking to most patients in a harsh and unprofessional tone throughout our stay at the hospital.

My elderly brother was taken ill at home on Saturday 18th February 2023 and needed emergency care. There was some delay re:-ambulance as there was a road traffic accident at the same time near by, but could not fault the care and attention given to him by the ambulance staff and the emergency dept at Good Hope Hospital. First Class. Thankyou paramedics and all the emergency nurses and doctors.
My son was brought in by ambulance by 2 absolutely fantastic gentlemen last week and all the staff in accident and emergency really looked after him from the nurse who took his bloods and other tests to the doctors and consultants. They were all very professional and curtiouse.
This place is a joke, nobody goes to hospital for the sake of it, however this place in rudeness is a whole new level, receptionist and floating nurse person with a computer... god knows what they do, but from my 9hours here j can see me taxes been wasted. Sorry but its a joke in here ultimately BAD management, I'm sorry for all the ppl who do work the backs off, only commenting on what was dealt to me 28th Dec 2022
Horrible place I was attacked and kicked by 2 teens and their mom Saturday late afternoon police took me to A&E the hospital said they would do some scans as my head is swollen I waited 8 hrs to be told they won't bother doing the scans as I wasn't vomiting I have severe epilepsy and passed out and doctor told me I look fine lol my head is clearly swollen I lost my speech and couldn't walk . Very unfriendly staff bossy and downright rude very unprofessional
