    Guy chatting to us had mega red flags. He had too much urgency for us to buy immediately. "How much to get your business today?" "Can do a good deal today" A lot of pressure to talk figures after viewing a few couches. Telling us "I like this one more too" after promoting another sofa for us to buy when we liked another. Even after telling him we're just looking. Opened the door for us on entry. Did not open on exit. Talked to us over our crying child and kept trying to sell to us after telling him we're leaving a few times to sort our children out. Can understand how some people buy under pressure. Be warned.

    Excellent service from Ghian, fabulous 'Heart Vario' bedroom furniture - great sturdy quality ready built wardrobes and drawers with the option to mix and match different colours. Josh and his delivery team were brilliant, so courteous and caring, unpacking the furniture and ensuring everything was perfect before leaving.

    Very bad experience with this store and agree with previous review very high pressure to buy from Josh the sales person. I will never use this company again, Spent £600 on a sideboard and two small tables, the delivery took 2 months and when it was delivered one of the tables was missing and the delivery driver was arguing saying I only ordered one and on his delivery note it said one, it was lucky that my wife took a photo of the original receipt at the time I made payment and it clearly said I had ordered and paid for two tables and one sideboard. Josh said he couldn't give me a receipt because the printer wasn't working in his office. On the day of delivery the sideboard and one table came wrapped up in clingfilm, it wasn't till they had gone that I upwrapped it and both items was badly damaged and they refused to give me my money back or collect the furniture it's only when I took them to the small claims court that I eventually got my money back and they picked up the damaged furniture. They tell lie after lie so you cannot believe a word they say and also the card transaction was made to a company called Lakeland Leather and not Furniture World. Having checked the name of the furniture it can be bought online at a fraction of the price they sell it for, even in there sale it's expensive but I understand they are a business and they are there to make a profit but you think your getting a good deal but your not and the aftersales is so bad.

    We recently purchased a new sofa from Furniture World Selby. Ordered in mid January and was quoted an estimated 4-6 weeks. In store Josh was friendly and we agreed on a price for a bespoke sofa and footrest at a great price. It was delivered 7 weeks after order within a given 2 hour window. Delivery chaps did a great job and was very efficient even taking away my old sofa which is a great service. Very happy with our purchase and would definitely return if I needed another piece of furniture. More than happy to support local independent traders rather that big chains who incidentally quote 14-16 weeks for their sofa's. Very happy with our new sofa and service.

    I went ordered a sofa in December. I was told it would be delivered in the middle of February so I paid £1000 deposit. It’s now the beginning of march so I have contacted them. I was told they had wrote down the wrong number so they couldn’t contact me even though the receipt for my deposit which they photocopied so they kept a record of my details had the correct contact number on. They then came back with another excuse of the Factory had suffered from a fire so there would be a further 4 week delay. After this they then told me it was in stock, awaiting delivery but they didn’t have the correct contact number so couldn’t deliver it even though they also had my address and email address. They’re refusing to give back my deposit so I have now contacted my bank.
