Amazing nursery , my two boys have loved being at footsteps . Leo left in July to start school and still talks about all the staff and how he misses it . Highly recommend , so warm And welcoming .
My son went to this nursery from 9 months old until he left for school in September. All the staff are so caring and loving, like a family away from home - three of his key persons particularly standout, Katie G who was his first in Bunnies and supported his transition into nursery life, Jess for support with his speech and language while he was in Fox Cubs and Malaika while he was in Owls for nurturing his curiosity through her experiments. His first parents evening at primary school was full of positives and he is hitting or exceeding all his targets, part of this is the play and experiences he had while being at Footsteps! Thanks from a proud Daddy!
My daughter attended Footsteps from 9 months old until she left to start school in September. She absolutely loved her time there and made fantastic progress – developing socially, emotionally, and academically. The staff were always kind, caring, and professional, creating a safe and nurturing environment that helped her thrive. Their support made a huge difference for me as a working parent, giving me complete peace of mind every day. We’re so grateful for everything the team has done and would highly recommend Footsteps to any parent looking for a warm, supportive, and high-quality setting for their child.
My nephew went to nursery here and has progressed so much over the years with his learning. He is thriving in reception at primary school. The early years staff have been amazing with him, so caring and brilliant with all the children and pushing them all to thrive and learn no matter what their need is. Would recommend this nursery!
My son started here at 9 months old in the bunnies room and left in August after completing preschool in owls. He enjoyed a variety of activities, had a wealth of experiences from regularly visiting a local care home and community garden to visitors that came to nursery such as the police, fire service, doctor and pilot. His favourite part of his nursery day was venturing out in the spacious garden to either dig in the exploratory area, climb or pedal a tricycle.
Can’t recommend Footsteps Nursery enough. Our daughter is thriving there and has a been very well cared for and looked after since she joined earlier this year. Staff are all friendly and genuinely care about the well-being of children under their care.
This nursery is brilliant! We viewed several others in Wilmslow, but this one stood out because of the warmth of the staff - they are so lovely with the children. The outdoor play area is a great size and the children spend lots of time playing outdoors. The new building is fantastic, with well equipped rooms, lots of natural light, clean toys and a and an art room! Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough!
I can't praise this nursery enough. My first born child who is now 8 went to this nursery from being 1 years old. We tried a few nursery's before this one and he couldn't settle until he went to oakdean nursery. The staff were absolutely amazing with him and us as parents. My son loved every minute being there and made some fabulous friends and relationships with the staff. My second born has literally just finished and started school. She also went to oakdean from being a baby and she got the opportunity to move to the fabulous new footsteps Nursery and spend her final year there. The facilities and the overall building is just amazing. She woke every day excited to go there. She too made some fabulous friends and she absolutely adores all the staff as they are so loving to all the children. I was so impressed with how settled and confident my daughter was from day one. I loved the staff and nursery vibe so much that I thought I would love to be part of it and now I am part of the team. I can't thank you all enough for being part of my children's upbringing and making them who they are today. Amazing footsteps Nursery As a parent I am forever grateful xxx
We can not praise and thank Footsteps nursery staff enough! Our son was attending the nursery for the last 3 years and he had a lovely time. Everyone was very caring and attentive. It almost felt like home from home for our son. Kerry, Anna, Alice and Jackie, you were all amazing with our son and we thank you for that. He will miss you dearly. It was lovely to see our son's progress in a digital journal. We were regularly updated with pictures of his daily plays and activities. We highly recommend this lovely nursery.
My daughter attended Oakdean for a couple of years and I can not sing the staffs praises high enough, from taking time to settle her to encouraging her to maintain her independence and allowing her free spirit to shine. The happiness she beamed each time leaving the nursery was incredible to witness. Jackie and Kate showed true care and love for her and knowing she was happy and safe whilst I am not there gave me a continued piece of mind. I highly recommend this nursery to my friends and family. Thank you for everything.
