Visa rejected for my relative on unreasonable grounds even after providing all the supports required for a successful application. It seems caseworker is careless at this office.
Me and my children had a biometrics on 5th August for our first visa extension and granted 2nd September. But they didn't send back our passport until now. How to contact or email them.
This is outrageous and should be illegal! I paid £600 for a “fast track” service that was supposed to take a month — instead, they dragged it out for 4 months. And after all that time, they managed to get my name wrong on the visa. Because of their incompetence, I’m now locked out of the UK, waiting endlessly while they “correct” a single letter. They claim it takes 15 working days to fix their own mistake — something that should be automated and take seconds. This isn’t just bad service, it’s exploitation. How is this allowed to happen in the UK? I feel like it’s easier to come to UK on the boat nowadays.

Visas were granted on 22-11-2024, but never returned our 4 passports of a family and no update till to date. Needs passport urgently to fly- NO HELP:(
WARNING!!! This office in Sheffield do not return documents or passport, they claim to have “sent” the item and give gibberish tracking number, when you call royal mail they confirm that they received a notification that they would he receiving something from UKVI to be sent however the UKVI dispatch team never actually handed it over to royal mail, i have been in talks with UKVI/solicitors/local MP to get this resolved and nearly 12months later still no passport, i have sent numerous emails/calls/complaints to UKVI and all they do if say it’s been sent, it look like more people are having the same issue. No one actually get off their comfortable office chair to physically check for the passport….yes you Christopher stop sending the same response and get off you behind and have a look you lazy jobs worth
Hello my name isatou sonko a Gambian national. I applied to ukvi immigration and someone replied back saying my application had been received.then a few months later the Border Agency came to my door and arrested me to return to Gambia.I then replied no as I had been in England for 16 years.they then asked me to sign on at the police station in Fareham at the time I was very ill with physical and mental health issues I have now been informed that my housing bennefit from DWP will be stopped and I could become homeless very soon.I hope you understand.
I applied my visa with priority service and my application was submitted to Sheffield uk visa office. I was really scared by reading the reviews here. But i got my visa in just 3 days.
I renewed my working permit last July 2022 (3months earlier than the actual expiry) and still waiting to hear from you until now. Ive been trying to ring almost everyday but cant reach you in any way, Ive also sent a letter twice to your office asking (begging) for you to have a look in case my application has been buried somewhere. My colleagues got their new BRPs just 2 weeks after they renewed and Ive been waiting for nearly 7 months now. Not even a decision email. Please have a look at this as Ive been planning to visit my family overseas. I was supposed to go last Nivember but to cancel bcos of it. Please please please! Can somebody help me! Im getting desperate.
An absolute embarrassment to the UK - I have never encountered such a useless organisation. If I ran my business like these lot ran their department I would be fined, investigated and bankrupt with no customers a long, long time ago. They can somehow process tourist, student, and transit visas in 3 weeks, yet a UK citizen has to wait 6 months to be reunited with their family. Another case of this country treating its own citizens like dirt. UKVI is simply a criminal organisation that has state protection.
