   Brilliant hairdresser, great girls and always give me a great cut. 10 out of 10. UPDATE 2025 : I'm still going to Bernadette James because she and her team are great and cut my hair the way I ask. My wife has recently started going to Bernie's after my wife's hairdressers closed much to my wife's dismay. I recommend Bernie's shop to my wife and my wife is a happy customer as well. My wife says her cut and colour and fantastic and she would highly recommend Bernadette James to anyone looking for a salon.

   I previously posted 5 stars but have had reduce to 3 stars. Lack of card payment is a drawback and I wasn't satisfied with my last haircut therefore cancelled the appointment and went elsewhere.

   The ladies at Bernadette James are fantastic! My cut, colour and tone is always done in such a fantastic way that I would never go anywhere else! With the new rules, I feel so safe in the salon as they are regularly cleaning and keeping distance between stations. Love this place ☺️

   I have been to various hairdressers on a weekly basis for the last 30 years & Bernadette James Hairdressing is by far the best. The salon is meticulously clean & professionally run. Bernie & her team are very talented & friendly. Bernie looks after my hair - cutting, colouring & weekly wash & blow drys & I am never disappointed. I wasn’t nervous going back after Covid-19 restrictions, as being as professional that the salon is run, I knew they would adhere to all safety requirements, which they did. Full PPE, sign in & outs, hand sanitisers, continuous sanitising of work stations, equipment etc, disposable gowns for staff & clients, masks & visors. Well done to Bernie & her team for keeping us & their team safe.
