Had an ultrasound appointment, couldn’t find the department as it wasn’t sign posted. After asking members of staff, we finally found it together. Was called into the room, no introductions made, I was only asked to confirm my demographics and lie on the bed. Very poor bedside manners. I didn’t know the names or professions of the people in the room. This should be a basic necessity - all NHS staff should introduce themselves.

Had to come here for an xray was told results would be sent to my surgery within 5-6wks, 6wks later i called the surgery to find out the results haven't arrived so i called the hospital and was told its now taking up to 12wks for results. Had i of known this i would of demanded my xrays be taken somewhere else thats capable of working within a reasonable timescale.

Visited today for a blood test and was seen earlier than my appointment which was great. The nurse was friendly and efficient. Staff in the cafe were also friendly and the baby change was clean.

The place is very quiet, the nurses are bullies, and they treat the elderly harshly. In addition, they are cruel. I did not expect this for two days. I feel like hell, especially in the evening.

I come here for my midwife appointments. Before pregnancy, I came here for blood tests. Everyone is so lovely and the appointment based system works well and better. Im never waiting for ages to be seen. For my blood test, I was waiting around 5 minutes only and went. Midwife appointments are the same. Everyone is so lovely and helpful too on reception.

Expected to drop everything and attend a hospital visit as a chaperone with my Mom. The reaction was quite rude when I told the caller I was 50 mile away and it would be impossible. And then found out the visit never went ahead was booked for the next day even though it was for suspected DVT!! Not a good experience of the hospital or staff so far!!!

Unfortunately a very poor experience. My 90 year old father was transferred from Russell's Hall (following a fall resulting in a minor bleed on the brain) supposedly for rehabilitation. Whilst he had poor mobility due to extensive arthritis in all joints he was able to mobilise slowly prior to admission. However, when he arrived home after 4 weeks of so called rehabilitation he simply could not walk at all.The staff had said he could walk and manage the stairs and was therefore able to be discharged with a carer twice daily. This was blatantly not true. The ambulance crew who brought him home had to carry him into the house,we had to get the bed downstairs ourselves & the care company had to quickly arrange for 2 carers 4 times a day. When he arrived home he looked ill and unkempt; he'd not had a shave and had no socks on despite it being a cold December day.Pretty appalling sums it up.

If I could give this hospital 0 stars then I would. My nan went in this hospital for rehab from another hospital. 9 days later she passed away all because of there incompetent care. She was treated like she was nothing. They took her human rights away from the moment she arrived there. If I can give anybody any advice DO NOT send your love ones to this hospital. My nan isn't the first I've heard being treated like this
