   Had new discs and pads fitted here, but a front-end rattle started straight after. Took it back and was told it was the shocks or top mounts. After some digging (with help from ChatGPT) and a second opinion from an independent mechanic, it turned out to be worn caliper sliders — a simple fix that should’ve been checked during the brake job. Sorted elsewhere in 20 minutes. Disappointing attention to detail.

   Appalling service – 3 failed appointments, zero help, and no accountability. I had three separate appointments at this garage to get new tyres fitted, and every visit was a complete failure: 1st appointment (last Thursday): I arrived on time, only to be told they were short-staffed and couldn’t do the job. No prior notice, just turned me away. 2nd appointment (Saturday): Turned away again because I didn’t bring my own jack pads — something they never mentioned during booking! Could have told me on 1st appointment before sending me away but obviously they didn’t! 3rd appointment (Wednesday): I left my car thinking the tyres would finally be fitted. Instead, I got a call 30 minutes later claiming the tyres weren’t suitable for my electric vehicle. I confirmed they were, but they refused to proceed. This morning (Thursday), I called again hoping they’d make things right and fit me in — but no. No flexibility, no care, no responsibility. They refused to help and were completely dismissive. So I gave up, went back to the garage, collected the tyres myself, and will now have to find another garage to finish the job. The whole experience has been frustrating, time-wasting, and completely unprofessional. The staff showed no empathy, no knowledge, and no willingness to resolve anything. Avoid this place at all costs.

   Cowboys. Avoid at all costs. Booked my car in when it started making a clicking sound after hitting a pothole. A mechanic called Adam told me something on the undercarriage had been pushed into the engine. I was informed it was a big problem and would likely cost £1000 at minimum, however they'd have to refer me to a partner as they couldn't undertake the work themselves. I decided to get a second opinion from a reputable independent mechanic who identified the problem as a cracked axillary belt. He showed me that there was no damage to the bottom of my car, as advised by Formula 1, and repaired the car in under an hour for less than £200. I'd previously been taking my car here for it's annual service, however have of course since opted to take it elsewhere. The amount of work I was advised was required each year was suspect in hindsight, however I chose to trust Formula 1 Autocentre. I've shared my experience with friends and family and been informed by a number of them that they've taken their car there only to be quoted significantly less for the same work at a different garage. This establishment seems to run on the Kwik Fit model of hiring muppets who'll try to charge you for the little work they know how to do, not the work your car actually requires.

   Booked online and received a confirmation email for a AM appointment for a slow puncture. I arrived 15mins early only to be told they had no confirmation of my booking so they can't see me. This is while I look around seeing all staff outside smoking and chatting. Surely they could start 10min early to resolve Formula booking issue. Absolutely not, this is the attitude of the company. Going back to my independent garage where you pay a little extra for a professional friendly service.

   Maybe someone had not good experience but as for me was everything excellent. Sunday 06.11.22 I have punctured my tyre around 11 am near Brentwood. I have contacted the garage by phone straight away and have dropped my car after 20 minutes. Unfortunately the tyre was not fixable so they have changed it very quickly. After 15 minutes I was back on the road to my home. So recommending from my own experience. Thank you.

   The people here were absolute superstars! I was halfway through a 100 mile journey when an oil light came on in the car... Even though having no appointment and turning up somewhat frazzled, I was seen and sorted and back on the road within an hour and everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

   Very poor communication and service. They cancelled my initial MOT booking and rebooked for another day. When dropped the car off was told I will get a call in an hour as I told them I need car for work. After 3h I had to call to find out my car wasn't even looked at. I had to chase them up constantly to find out about quotes for repair that kept going up with every call. Please do not use them
