I can not praise all staff giving dignity and respect . Explaining my procedures and the outcome and reasons why I should wear surgical stockings for 14 days . My Consultant Mr Butt could not have been any more helpful and explained procedure to my routine follow up appointment. He explained what PIFU was and that at any time till June if I have any concerns or questions to call and arrange appointment with him . He showed me how to massage my scar . I felt at ease in the care of Mr Butt . I would highly recommend him and the hospital . Thank you all for taking care of me and the Nurse on the day of operation helped me nothing was to much trouble . The physio came to see me before discharge who explained everything that I needed to do with exercises for my hand can’t thank you enough

Visited this hospital a few times with an out patient appointment. Excellent service every time, polite staff with appointments running on time, no unnecessary waiting around. Minimal waiting times also for investigatory tests. Mr Butt is a wonderful Consultant, who listens and shows genuine interest in your medical condition. Very pleased with the treatment I have recieved from Stourside, thank you.

My husband had a knee replacement at West Midlands Hospital on 23rd September. He has had a few setbacks along the way. The care he has received from Stourside Hospital has been first class. All the staff, nurses and Doctors have given him the best care and attention he could have hoped for. They are always there for him on the end of the phone if he needs to be seen. Cannot recommend this hospital highly enough.

AWFUL just awful. Have had chronic abdominal pain for years and was misdiagnosed with IBS with the NHS for over 6 years. Finally went private and found out it was Adenomyosis. I opted for a hysterectomy to cure the condition as it had become a massive hurdle in my life at this point. My doctor completely agreed and stated i should have no issues with getting a hysterectomy at 35 because of my condition, past and the fact it had damaged my fertility which means I can’t have any more children. My Doctors rang and said I could go to stourside and that i would probably get a surgery date on my first appointment. So i chose to go there. I was really happy to finally be getting it sorted however seeing Dr Revathi Manivasagam was horrendous. She spoke to me for two seconds and I started to say what I wanted done and my history and she cut me off mid sentence… Saying no we wont do that here the age is 40 for a hysterectomy and you can’t have it at 35. I then went to explain yes I can as it’s a cure for my condition and why had I been given an appointment if they couldn’t do it? As it would have been refused. She just cut me off and started to try and get me to do a procedure for infections on my uterus. I asked why and she just stated we do them all the time i can get you in as a day patient next week and you will be in and out. I said but why do i need this? She didn’t answer just kept going about the procedure. I stated no I don’t need it it wont help my condition will it? She then said no. She said a lot of other things but wouldn’t let me talk. Then stated if i wanted the procedure to go private to The Priory (funnily enough found out after that she works there to!) She told me to have the procedure 3 times, before I said NO! Firmly and said I’m rather annoyed as why see me if you can’t help? She just said we shall agree to disagree. I left and was upset at a waste of time. I was given another consultant DR Mummarr and despite being a good listener he wanted me to go to a bigger hospital as he didn’t want me to have it done there because of my age. He palmed me off with tablets which were awful so I stopped taking them. He also stated that I have Endometriosis which I knew I did not and he wouldn’t believe it and said i needed a scan. I went to the scan and no endometriosis as stated. I was supposed to be called after the scan and even did a complaint with Georgia over this and was told her manager Paula would be in touch in a few days and 4 weeks later still no response. I have now gone private and honestly would say to any women going for gynaecologist advice and help AVOID this hospital.

Been visiting this lovely modern hospital for last 18 months under the care of my Consultant Mrs Mani always on time and greets me with a smile and kind words which instantly puts me at ease, extremely professional willing to listen and fully explains the procedure. I very much appreciate the way my life has been improved through my visits. All staff are respectful and kind and the hospital cleanliness is a credit to you. Wish Stourside Hospital continuing success for the future.

Referred by my gp for female sterilisation. The consultation felt very rushed. I left feeling quite shocked. The consultant had incorrect documentation about my case and I felt very dismissed when explaining my concerns. Second opinion sought.

After having surgery a few weeks ago , I cannot recommend Stourside Hospital enough. The nurses have been so caring and helpful and have seen me straight away over any worries I have had. Also the receptionists I have spoken to have been very helpful and understanding and allowed me to speak to a nurse if required. This has all helped my recovery. I would like to pass on my appreciation and thanks for all your help.

Excellent care from start to finish. Every member of staff that I came into contact with during my day case procedure was professional, welcoming and clearly informed me of what to expect. The hospital was spotlessly clean. I was given my own 'pod' (small bright room to wait in before the procedure and recover afterwards). The surgical team were excellent, professional and considerate about my dignity and care. Overall, I was very impressed with the level of care I received.
