Bought a bulb for 18£, later on found the same one for 1.50£ on euro car parts , went in for a return after 10 minutes wouldn’t accept it. Absolutely ripping off customer

I got my tyres done here on the 22/08/23 and had to have all 4 tyres replaced today 15/07/25. Don’t waste your money on tyres here as they haven’t even lasted me 2 years.
I can't rate this place highly enough! My friend recommend it to me, saying that they will always try to repair a tyre if possible, rather than trying to sell you a new one (like they do in Kwikfit). That was exactly my experience too. Really friendly, really fast and at a really decent price. Excellent business.

Knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest. I wanted to start with those three words, because having moved to the area 6 years ago, I have been unfortunate with some car services and mechanics, unlike Northwood, who are great at keeping you informed of your car's progress, and offer honest advice to help with cost options. I had an experience where a different garage had 'diagnosed' a terrible ball joint issue after a mere tracking inspection. I contacted Northwood for a second opinion and they offered a far cheaper solution and described how the situation had been exacerbated. I highly recommend the team at Northwood Hills!
Following a full service, I had to report a low tyre pressure issue despite adequate pressure, and turned up unannounced today, New Year's Eve. It was quickly resolved with clear explanation (it was a fault of the car and not the garage) and at no cost. Impressive.
Took the car in for tyres replacement. All four wheels were marked like shown in the pictures. The technician waived the labour charge as a good will of gesture. The thing is 4 tyres replacement costs £80 but refurb 4 x 21 inch wheels would cost over £800…don’t take your pride and joy there
