I have had a very negative experience avoid this garage. Oaks have overcharged me, rude, young mechanics and didn’t fully complete the job. Owner Martin is a walking red flag very shifty gentleman and lacks car knowledge. I still have knocking and my car was parked miles away from the garage upon collecting I had to wait for it. Very untrustworthy and unprofessional I have the same problem with my car. I’ve been to another garage in Chertsey who I trust and they said I’ve been overcharged and the garage oaks have not even done the timing my cars still knocking and leaking. The work could have been done at a fraction of the price. I was taken advantage of as I was using AA parts mad garage cover and the oaks garage is greedy they wanted to get the whole £500 plus more. £950 worth of work done on a car to be told to come back and they think I’m stupid enough to keep on paying. The garage does not care about their customers and just wanted the money. My car was not looked after half a tank of petrol GONE. I’ll be making sure to tell everyone to avoid this a garage.
Have had nothing but quick, efficient and well-priced service here. The guys are easy to get hold of, really reliable and are able to accommodate any time requirements and have always fixed and serviced my car excellently. Couldn't recommend enough!
Needed a resonator delete on short notice before the weekend and these guys came through! They managed to fit me in quickly, got the job done in a good amount of time, and charged a very reasonable price. Really happy with the work and the service—will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!
Came here for a very last minute/urgent MOT having been let down by somewhere else. We called 4pm yesterday and were seen 10am the next day which was a Saturday. Nice guys doing the MOT and it was done quickly. It didn’t cost us too much and I’m really happy we went here.
AVOID THIS PLACE!! AVOID IT AT ANY COSTS!! Do not make the same mistake as me, and all the other that put 1 star. if i could give 0 star i would, without hesitation. I went there as my car was making a funny noise in the back, Martin the business owner, told me it is the Propeler, he made me pay 750 pounds to fix it, but when i picked up the car, the noise was still there... He totally refused to reimburse me, and i am not even sure he did anything to the car, as it is the exact same as before. You are never going to win to use their services, there are plenty of other garage around, don't waste your money there. I really hope this place shut down, as it is unfair to rip off customer like that. Especially nowadays when everybody struggle with money.
Brought my car in there with a broken clutch. They've done a very poor job at repairing it as the clutch feels very stiff and it's very hard to change gears. They did recognize that they did a poor job which I appreciate their honesty but I expected a better work for the money that they charged me.
Oaks services quoted me £50 to investigate a problem with the electrics in my door which inner lining had to be taken off to do so, I was told what the problem was and quoted how much to fix it which was £250. I could not afford it at the time and decided not to have the repair done. I was then told the investigation was £80 which was not previously agreed. Apparently I was originally quoted for the door to be inspected and dismantled, not for it to be put back together again…. Which cost £30 extra it seems. On top of this, generally when being told ‘ that’s £80’ and passing the card machine over I would have expected to be paying £80. Nope, £96 was the total cost as this did not include VAT. Finally, I previously requested that I picked the car up on a certain day, when I arrived the car was not ready to be taken away and so had to spend £20 getting an Uber to work. I had no record of my original quote and should have got it in writing as the only proof of payment was the invoice created by oaks services and so could not get my money back. So moral of the story is get quotes in writing and check the card machine before paying and don’t trust what is said by mouth as I was caught out both times. Oh and don’t take your car here.
Do not go to this place, they will rip you off So went to oaks services for a cv boot which they said it will cost £125! ,they ring me up saying we got bad news for you the part will come tomorrow! Well I need my car today! They said sorry we took it apart. So I had no car for a day .the next day I went there to see what going g on with my car ,I get there and my is not there I said where my car and they said oh hes took it out on a test drive 30 minute later my car is back with half of my petrol gone BMW x5 3.0 And the price went from £125 to £492 and they add new wipers blades to my car which I did not ask for and they charge me for them Avoid this place AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS GARAGE So I went to a different garage so I can get them to have a look at the work of Oak services and they come back and said there's a bit of play on the same side they done the work on wheel they said it could be the bearings as they investigated they realise that Oaks services forgot to put the spacer washer back on and said this car is dangerous to drive, there is too much play on the wheel AVOID THIS PLACE
